    Good hotel for a short stay. Room was clean and the linen was clean too. Convenient location with many restaurants and shops nearby. Receptionist spoke English and breakfast was not bad too.     Good value for money hotel looking like a real American motel. Hotel with famliy room in Lille itsself near station (Novotel or Ibis, same corporate family) would cost double even without parking.     OK but a bit difficult if walking

    The rooms surprised me a bit with the electric window shutters so good at keeping hot sun out (not air conditioned) The room I found was very comfortable. Not the cleanest but acceptable for me. It was good that there are room kettles. Breakfast is typical continental fair but OK. My walk into the office from the hotel and back was pretty difficult due to no safe pavements and so walked on the road somewhat so played quite a bit of car dodging.     Having read some poor reviews, I have to say we experienced no negative points at all. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are of decent quality for the price, the hotel is tucked away in between a couple of office blocks, very near the autoroutes, and the tramway into Lille city centre. Breakfast was excellent, a good selection of bread & pastries, a choice of cereals, ham and cheese, hot and cold drinks. Excellent value for money, and worth the extra cost over an Ibis Budget.     Very cold as the door was not sealed properly, broken trash bin in the bathroom, toilet flushing working on 40%, breakfast with only few choicesFinally I have asked for a taxi at 6am to catch the train and then my flight, after some time waiting in - 4°C went to the reception and they did not order the taxi day before - no solution offered, so I run to catch a tramway...NEVER going back EVER FREDERIC W, Directeur général at Campanile Lille Nord - Wasquehal, responded to this review Dear Custumer,We thank you for taking your time to leave us your opinion on our establishment.
