Location

The hotel is situated in the district of Fives, just a short walk from EuraLille, the new shopping and business centre. Fives is a small village-like district, which is lively and popular. Even today its people are guardians of their local traditions, and there are brass bands, racing, games, festivals and flea markets. Motorway access to Paris and Brussels is just 5 minutes away. Lille Airport is approximately 8 km from the hotel.

    Hotel not far from Lille centre, approx 25 minutes walk. Area more residential. Car parking good. Room very small. Bathrooms tiny. Decoration needed as doors particularly had chipped and marked paint work. Staff friendly. Would I stay again no.

    The rooms are small but functional. Beds are comfortable.Reception staff friendly and helpful.Easy access outdoor on-site parking is very useful.There's no air conditioning, and as we happened to be there in a heatwave it was almost impossible to sleep. Reception loaned us floor-standing fans, which helped, but I don't know if they had many of these. I would avoid this hotel in really hot weather for that reason.Opening the window only helped a little as there was no through-flow of air, and we also got plagued by mosquitos so had to buy anti-mosquito plug-in from the supermarket in the shopping center.None of this will be a problem outside of the summer period obviously.Location:It's around a 15 minute walk to the square in front of the Lille Flandres railway station and a little less to an entrance to the Westfield Euralille shopping mall. The route isn't exactly charming but it's alongside a busy enough road so shouldn't be too unsafe.The Caulier metro station is a 5 minute walk away in the other direction. That's on line 1, which takes you into the center, or direct out to stop for the Pierre Mauroy stadium in less than 15 minutes.

    Brilliant value for money. Large onsite car park which is free for guests. Good location near to the station, around 15 minute walk to the centre of Lille. Friendly reception staff and 24h bar. Rooms were small but clean, bathroom could do with updating but hey, at that price I'll be coming back regardless.     The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

    We booked this hotel thinking it would not be the Ritz but quite adequate for our trip to Lille. How wrong i was . Our visit to Lille was ruined by the fact that this hotel was so awful. When we arrived and booked in I asked the disinterested receptionist if I may have a map of the area so we could find our way around. This hotel didn't even have a map to offer us ! I subsequently managed to obtain a map from another hotel which I believe all the local hotels carried except this one ! When I was first shown into our room my heart sank. The room was on the ground floor and not only small but dark and depressing with a window facing straight onto the pavement outside so no privacy even with the thin window cover. Thee was little space fr any clothes we had and the bathroom was tiny with a small shower cubicle with overhead large shower head which meant you could not escape the cascade of water and just a thin shower curtain.. In the morning I was hoping for a decent breakfast but to be honest the hot food was cold and un-appetizing just thin bacon that was like chewing leather . The hotel was located in the business district of Lille although the surrounding area looked like it was more industrial and a bit grim to be honest. Not the best place to stay if you are wanting to spend time in the old centre of Lille. On the positive side I did manage to sleep in the bed although it was somewhat small and the room was clean. However I would never want to stay here again and it is definitely not recommended.     Great little hotel, staff really welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Justine was excellent receptionist, ensuring we knew how to get about the city. Breakfast really tasty and rooms comfortable for the price. Good location and just 15 minute walk to the centre.
