  Great hotel to explore Montpellier

  We stayed there as a base to explore Montpellier. The staff was very friendly, both in terms of managing the check-in and check-out, as well as giving us directions on how to get to the city center. The location is good, just 15 minutes from the city center.The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

  - The room we paid for was not provided. - Air conditioning was not working. Temperature in the room went up 28 degrees Celsius. The alternative remedy which was a fan was so noisy. - Room was not made up according to the system. - The entire hotel stinks terribly like a morgue. A dead body would resurrect in these conditions. No alternative solution provided. - Terrible service at the reception. Barked at us like a mad dog bearing in mind this was around 3-4am in the morning. - We did not stay at this hotel and ended up losing the entire night. Will be chasing booking.com and my bank to Cancel booking and refund every penny paid. Absolutely terrible. Horrible and Worst hotel ever! Never again. Stay away from this morgue if you value a good hotel.

  The hotel was right beside my client which is why I selected it. The word "Studio" means a bedroom with a kitchen in the corridor (not quite the UK meaning - so don't expect a separate kitchen area with lots of space). The place worked well but the road entrance is challenging because of the current addition of a bus lane which has closed some of the roads to the roundabout on which the hotel is situated. There is a lot of construction and the access road is very narrow and slightly hard to locate. There is a notice about going green but I wish they would repair their leaking toilet cistern which flushed continually the whole night on the first day (Room 301). There is breakfast to €12 and parking for €5 a night outside, €8 a night in the basement or there's plenty of spots nearby which are free. I parked in the road outside for three nights safely.

  Excellent stay, very clean and tidy. The staff were excellent, friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was good. On site parking is a plus, but complicated to get out of when leaving!! . A perfect place to stop in Montpellier, bot too far from the centre and the station.

  The rooms are clean and neat, if a bit dated. But it is the service that is outstanding at this hotel. My reservation was screwed up, but Andy at reception quickly saved the day. To all hotel professionals out there....be like Andy.
