    They try but fall short.

    rating17 Jun 2025

They really try but fall sort on managing their star rating. We are a family of 6 and got a suite with a yard. There were only 4 chairs inside but 6 on the patio. So we tried to use the patio but the mosquitoes were so bad that my children look like they have the chicken pox everywhere they showed any skin and so do I. The mildew in the air-conditioning and the toilet room was so strong. We all ended up with sinus issues after the stay. I didn't even bother to complain because of other complaints in here that they just covered up with fragrance, which my oldest is allergic to. There was a spiders nest that hatched in the kids room one night and they ended up all over the room. I did complain about that and they did send someone that sprayed the children's room with chemicals after they cleaned the room. The bed was so hard in the master room that both my husband and I ended up living on ibuprofen while staying there. The concept is great and I'm sure when they opened this was an amazing place because they really put effort into details but the statues are not being kept up with and the colors are bleaching in the sun. And lights sometimes take a while to turn on at night and it makes for a creepy walk with all the life size statues that have white eyes. This is all stuff that should be touched up on every winter to keep up color and quality. In the VIP+ area of the pool they say when you lay down that they can get whatever we want but had I wanted anything then I would have had to go looking for the person instead of the person walking by and asking on a regular basis (like every 45 min) if everything was needed. Since I had to stand up anyway to find the person I went and got stuff myself. What I did like: housekeeping was great (except the mildew smell never went away because it is in the AC units and the toilet room), the shuttle to the beach was great, having a little bodega right outside the park within walking distance was nice and the owner super nice and gave the kids candy when I purchased a lot there. They were nice about bringing the bags to the room and parking the car. The Nespresso machine in the room was nice even though they didn't refill the coffee every day. The kids did enjoy the water park. There was a restaurant next to the place that made pizza, chicken nuggets and burgers that they kids did enjoy, in the morning you can buy baguettes there too.The all inclusive is not worth it. Don't waste your money on it. The restaurant on location is not good. Save that money. But major downers is hard mattress, bugs and mildew.

    A must for pirate lovers!

    rating06 Sept 2023

The attention to detail at this hotel is just amazing, it really blew us away. It’s skeletons and pirates galore! It was raining when we arrived and the hotel staff came out to greet us with umbrellas, they were extremely welcoming and helpful. We loved the water park and ended up spending most of our time there.

Good hotel, but a few things to watch out for

    rating19 Sept 2022

We stayed for 1 night as part of a road trip. We are a family of 3, child age 9. The hotel decor is as good as the pictures, if not better. The staff is incredibly helpful and even booked a great restaurant for us on the beach for dinner. The one thing that left us a bit disappointed was the waterpark. The slides are smaller than what we expected, but we also did not really undestand the rules about the type of swimming costumes in advance correctly. We misunderstood from the website (so our fault) and did not have lycra swimming costumes for my husband and son and my tankini was also not meeting the rules. So they were not allowed in the water. We got a work around with some pants for my son, but it still left him disappointed that we could not swim with him. We only had 3 hours to spend, so no time to find a shop, etc. Not the hotel's fault, but one to watch out for.Add-ons like anything from the minibar or breakfast was very expensive. But they were able to accomodate a severe peanut allergy, so that was a big plus. Very fun family hotel

    rating05 Jul 2022

Very fun pirate hotel with a nice waterpark. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in suite 19 which had a view over the waterpark and a very nice sun deck.We did not try the breakfast. We thought it was too pricy. 19 euros pr. person. The suite was very nice and the beds too. The suite had a fully equipped kitchen and there were supermarkets close by. The waterpark is open to the public and that made it feel crowded.
