  slightly strange smell in reception but staff friendly enough during check inroom was on 5th floor and although a little small was pretty comfortable in truthshower was pretty tight but had good flow and had shampoos/shower gels available for uselocation is fantastic , nancy station 50m from the door absolutely perfect if like me you are doing a few train tripssleep quality good too on very comfortable bedroom also has tv with 30 or so channels but nothing in englishhotel has a supermarket just around the corner and a couple restaurants and brasseries on its doorstepnever ate there but used the bar one night, not much happening in truth 5euro for bottle lageroverall for the price i paid i was really content with my choice of hotel in nancy and would certainly stay again for the same price Matthieu DEBICKI, Autre at ibis Nancy Centre Gare et Congres, responded to this review Dear,Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us.We are delighted to read that you enjoyed our exceptional location just steps from Nancy train station, making your trips around the region easy and convenient.   How disappointing an Ibis can be

  This Ibis is a real disappointment in comparison with the standard Ibis. Rooms extremely small. Bathroom wasn’t clean. Just 1 towel per person. Junkies in front of hotel not inviting, but might be location. Only the breakfast was good, although also there the floor wasn’t clean.   Stayed here October 8-11. Staff were excellent , limited assortment for breakfast. Room was very small but clean. Bring your own facecloth as hotel doesn’t provide. Excellent location , across the street from trains and buses. Wonderful cafe next door to hotel. rooms are tiny, and hot, no ac.   Avoid if you want to avoid unexpected expenses, and be welcomed as a guest

  compared with the IBIS hotel in Orleans, this hotel has totally different kind of staff. The man at the reception, was unwelcoming and couldn’t turn his eyes away from the computer screen. He wasn’t rude, but he didn’t show much interest either, and only gave the shortest possible answers actually giving concrete answers...The lady in the breakfast room showed an attitude that you didn’t want as an enemy..... upon entry of the breakfast room, instantly demanding the breakfast tickets from the guests, in such a way that you didn’t dare to even hesitate responding to the request.....Room was OK-ish, but the bath-plug didn’t work... a bath therefore wasn’t possible.Unfortunately, it also wasn’t clear from the description on their website that breakfast and parking were optional extras. Euros 10,50 p.p. for a breakfast, and 18,50 for overnight parking at the stations public parking garage.If you don’t want those extra costs, making an overnight stay expensive, and you do want to be treated as a welcome guest, then don’t stay in this hotel...   JUST ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF NANCY TRAIN STATION

  First Time in this Ibis in despite of having visit Nancy back in June 1997.The hotel location is good as it stands on the opposite side of train station and about 1.5kms from the old town.Room was small and was not easy to sleep as it was too hot after a day of 26C.The bathroom was good with good space.Breakfast was good, had several choices and starts at 6H30 AM.
