  Perfect stay with excellent breakfast

  Comfort, cleanliness, tranquility, friendliness – everything is there. The cherry on top: we could catch a glimpse of the castle from our room.Special mention for the delicious breakfast, with high-quality and varied products, at a reasonable price.

  In town location near castle and towns amenities including bars and restaurants though non fast food restaurants did not open until 19.00. Parking for hotel was excellent. Customer service was good. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean. Good breakfast.   Hotel wasn't what we were expecting. Great location but a bit run down. You enter by driving under a building then go 50 yards to park car. Then walk back to entrance to check in. Not great when raining! Room was on top floor of back block, probably post-war. Entrance to that was over badly broken steps. Room was meant to have view of chateau which it did - just - over rooftops and through large trees! Musty smell in room was off-putting but generous sprinkling of aftershave sorted. And we actually had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was all on plastic trays - need I say more. There are not many choices in this area when it comes to accommodation so it did its job. Restaurant was highly rated but closed so we went to Brasserie Chateau which was good.   Good stop-off hotel

  We stopped off at this hotel en route to Switzerland and it was perfectly located near the motorway and in a pretty location by the canal. The hotel and room were generally a little outdated and could do with some modernization. The outside of the hotel was a tad shabby. Parking good and safe.Our little dog was welcome and we enjoyed a walk round the town and especially the chateau.Our room was reasonable and we slept well. It was a bonus having coffee and tea making facilities in the room.We did not eat in the restaurant as we arrived quite late but wished we had!Breakfast was a buffet style affair and the choice was varied.
