  Free parking and very friendly staff

  The location is convenient if one arrives by car. Free parking. We went to a concert at the nearby Zenith which is a 15 Minute walk from the hotel. The man in the reception was very friendly and explained how to get there by foot.The roms are kind of basic but clean and was enough for our needs. The breakfeast was good but nothing extraordinary. The employees working at breakfeast were very friendly as well. All emoloyees speak (at least) basic english. Communication was no problem.I would stay here again if passing through the area.   Nice hotel for a 1 night stay

  For the return journey to the Netherlands, we were looking for a hotel for one night near the motorway. With Kyriad we made a good choice in our experience. The hotel is close to the motorway (in about 3 min to Metz). The room is simple, but sufficiently spacious and clean. Bathroom is spacious. The shower - in the bath - is very nice. The welcome was very friendly both on arrival and in the morning at breakfast. The breakfast buffet pleasantly surprised us. We expected it to be simple, but there was plenty of choice of mini rolls, croissants, pain au chocolat, sweet and savoury fillings and fresh fruit. For us, it is certainly an address to remember for the next time we are passing through.   Very okay after a day on the road.Dog friendly and lots of rooms on ground floor, so you don't have to walk up stairs with your dog.You can also get directly to your room from the outside, so you don't have to bring the dog inside the hotel.

  double payment

  The place is OK but I did not appreciate they made me pay double for my room. I paid the accommodation for 2 nights in advance but it was not visible on their computer. According to my credit card statement the payment was charged to another Campanile hotel (Quimper) but they still demanded the payment once more. Obviously Campanile Nancy has a problem with their IT system, misdirecting payments. So better don't make payments in advance to them, the money might be lost. My inquiries for a refund later on, sent by E-Mail, were ignored - very bad business behavior!

  Motel type hotel with an upgraded restaurant to challenge the standard

  You normally know what you’re going to get when you book into a Campanile type hotel, main restaurant/breakfast complex with two story American Motel type accommodation. The rooms are still the same, clean but basic with quite hard beds and warm air conditioning but the showers are greatly improved, giving a very powerful and hot douche, just right after a long drive. I was greatly impressed with the restaurant too, a massive step up from my last experience with good choices and not that expensive either, happy touring folks..
