  Official complaintI wish to express my deep dissatisfaction with the quality of service at the Hotel Cerise, which I have been a guest of for four years. I live in Paris and come regularly to your house on weekends for professional reasons. Until now, I had always been satisfied: the hotel was clean, quiet and well managed.However, over the past two years, the quality of service has deteriorated significantly. Management has changed, unskilled staff have been recruited, and the hotel is becoming more and more neglected every year. There is a perception that employees are randomly selected, and many leave their positions in the middle of their shift, leaving customers unattended.⸻Description of the incidentDuring my last stay, I arrived at 11:00 pm with my five children. What I discovered is totally unacceptable for a hotel establishment: • the first room was dirty and uncleaned, • a strong unpleasant smell was coming from the room, • the presence of other people was clearly felt recently, • One of the towels had bloodstains, • the general condition of the room was unhealthy.I asked for another room, but it also had a persistent smell and a clear lack of ventilation and maintenance.In addition, it is clear that the hotel now houses people accommodated by the authorities for long periods. Many behave as if they were the owners of the establishment and impose their rules on other guests.⸻Noise problems and inappropriate behaviour • At 7 pm, while listening to a low-volume program, I was told, as the hours of silence begin at 8 pm. • On the other hand, between 00:00 and 02:00, the occupants of the upper floor moved furniture, made noise and prevented my family from sleeping. • At 7:00 a.m., the noise resumed. • When I went upstairs to calmly ask them to make less noise, they caused a scandal and called the police, falsely accusing me of threats.⸻Total lack of management and accountabilityUpon arrival, I tried to contact the emergency number listed in the hotel.No one answered.This demonstrates a failing organization and a lack of management accountability.The director is unserious and unprofessional. He recruits unskilled staff, checks nothing, lies to customers and leaves the establishment to operate without proper management.⸻My requestsTaking into account all the facts mentioned above: • I now refuse to stay in your hotel, • I consider that you have lost a loyal client, • I request a full refund of my stay, • as well as compensation for moral damage caused by the nuisance, unhealthiness and stress suffered by my children and myself.Without your response, I will post a detailed review on Google with supporting photos, and make a formal complaint to the relevant platforms and organizations.   Avoid! This place is depressing and disgusting

  This apartment looked nothing like it did in the pictures. It was extremely basic and was dirty, not what you want when staying during a pandemic! We had no choice but to leave and find accommodation elsewhere as there was no way my children were sleeping in there. Advice to others don’t book. There were apartments with pots of plants and washing outside so I think this is used as a place to house those who are in need of emergency housing for Nantes. Definitely not somewhere you want to spend any part of your holiday in. Avoid, avoid, avoid!   Smelly and noisy.

  We were going to stay here as a temporary apartment for a few weeks - I didn’t last a few days. The apartment smelled like garbage. We notified the manager immediately and he said he didn’t smell anything. I tried airing it out for a couple days with no luck. The people above us were smoking out of their windows and we could hear their tv and movements. There seemed to be a lot of construction workers and truck drivers living there. The few pros- parking was convenient, it was pet friendly and the breakfast was decent.   Cerise is located at Line 1 near Ranzay tram station. Location is probably one of its pros where room space would turn up as the primary con. The furniture provided are not that up to dated and they needs to be changed. Anyways its a budget residence. But still I feel that 50 Euros for one night is probably a bit too over priced according to the accommodation provided.

  Disappointing after a very good stay in Cerise Carcassonne earlier in the year. We had requested a disabled facility, but on arrival we were given a 1st Floor Room with no lift. Maria did her best to provide ground floor accommodation, which she managed.If you have a disability you will struggle here unless you can get a disabled suit, which I thought we were getting. The shower is raised, (step up) with manual controls, (not thermostatic). A broken riser rail which will not retain the shower rose & hose makes this a difficult experience. Very low bed requiring our Elephants Feet Bed Raisers.The kitchenettes in the Cerise Apartments are really useful, but there were numerous broken items, I repaired one saucepan myself. Fortunately we travel well prepared. I would stop in the Cerise chain again if I was just travelling with able-bodied people, but would not subject my wife to this a second time, we really struggled. Nevertheless, we are delighted that Marie have found a solution to fix this misunderstanding.The apartment you held subsequently is not suitable for people with reduced mobility, so we understand the difficulty with the shower and bed. We hear your frustration and we are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience.As you stated, Marie found a last-minute solution, and in a hurry, she did not take the time to properly prepare the flat, so we apologize again.
