  Tortuous to locate on a Centre Commercial estate. Plenty of parking including EV charging bays. The bedroom had a 6 ft (1.8 m) bed but was somewhat tatty as was the smallish bathroom. The shower with a glass door was over the bath. Good wi-fi but no USB sockets.The breakfast was excellent with a fair choice.

  This was my first time travelling solo and I am so glad I chose this hotel! I felt so safe and all the staff were welcoming and understanding of the little French I speak, no issues with them when I spoke English! As I was previously worried this would come across as rude of me but they made me feel so welcome.The bus stops right outside the hotel so transport is great! I recommend getting the Nantes pass for anyone planning on using the transport or activities often.The room was clean and spacious, and I have to say the bathrooms are so nice! Provided with shampoo, soap and body wash. As well as complimentary tea and coffee. I really enjoyed the vast choice of food at breakfast, and on my last night I treated myself to the food. It was delicious. I was quite full and the staff gave me my dessert to take up to my room so I didn’t miss out 😇Thank you so much for making this a great experience for me.   Back again!😃

  As promised in my review this time last year we came back and the experience was as good as ever. We received the usual warm friendly greeting from the man running reception and our room was as expected. The rooms are pretty standard but always comfortable with yes/ coffee facilities, but you won’t find any English speaking channels on the TV🤣We had dinner and as usual it was really good. Our waitress translated the menu for us and was really charming and helpful. I was delighted to see chef popped out to check if we were enjoying his food which of course we were!This is now our “ go to” first night stop over when driving from Roscoff to Spain. Its comfortable, friendly with good food and an excellent Belgian beer.There is also a petrol station opposite( ish) so it provides everything for a stress free start to a road trip.We love this one!   Next road trip, definitely coming back

  Had a great overnight stayWhenever we travel through France to Spain we choose Campanile. Only been let down once when what had been Campanile was no longer between booking and our arrival. They have a consistently good standard of room, perfect for overnight on a road trip. The restaurants are always good too as evidenced by locals coming in to eat.This one was superb and if we travel this way again is a definite stop over. Corinne who booked us in gets a special mention😃 We were very early having driven in from Roscoff that morning and as we expected our room wasn’t ready and we expected to wait. Bless her, she went out to check, came back and worked magic and switched us to a room that was ready. Absolutely excellent service which made us feel so welcome. Merci Corinne!We had a lovely dinner and again a brilliant server. Sadly, I forgot to get her name ( Christine?) but despite our very poor French and her best possible English she was cheery, funny, and totally delightful. Please tell her!!! She also served us beers earlier!😃Floriene ( hope I remember that right) sorted our bill brilliantly, so again , Merci!Had a really good, welcoming stay.   Really a good chain to stay with all over France so make it easy to stop at any place to final destination. Staff always friendly and helpful. have been staying th campanile for over 15 years, so its great to see that Campanile have been upgrading theie hotels.
