  Not great, some major issues.

  I don't like to leave negative reviews, and rarely do, but I felt compelled to on this occasion. We stayed for 2 nights.The hotel could be so much better, but appears to lack good management.The room we chose had an outdoor area with a table and chairs, which was very nice. Unfortunately that did not follow through to the room itself, which was very small, so much so that only one person could move around the room at any time. Unfortunately the weather was not great and the room was cold, but the heating did not work. When I asked at the desk I was told it may be because of a previous flood in the room above, and offered me a plug in electric heater which did work. Not ideal. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The one chair provided only had 3 working legs, which caused me to fall when I sat on it. It was changed, but it should not have happened. The bathroom is very cramped, again only room for 1 person at a time, it reminded me of the bathroom on the ferry, and unfortunately the metal toilet roll holder is in a stupid place which grazes your arm if your not dressed due to the tiny bathroom. Only one toilet roll was provided, which ran out on the morning of day 2 as we were about to leave. The shower enclosure was not very clean, a simple job which was not done properly. Again, not ideal.We paid to park in the garage, fine, but during our 10 hotel trip over 3 weeks around France and Spain the price for similar parking was between 7 and 15 euros a night. This was 25 euros a night, 50e for 2 nights, ouch.On the plus side, the hotel is in a great location, and although we didn't take breakfast as you pass through the area to the garage the breakfast looked very comprehensive. Could be so much better without a lot of extra work. I could not recommend this hotel.   Great location with major flaws

  Great location. Nice looking establishment with nice looking rooms. Now come the negatives. My room looks on to the parking courtyard. Across the way from my room, and looking directly into my room are apartments with families and screaming and crying children. It's a hot summer and there's no air conditioning. With the window open everybody's looking directly into my room. In the middle of the night people are coming and going and making noise in the courtyard. If I leave my window open to try to get some cool air, people are looking directly at my bed and I'm listening to the traffic in the courtyard. Last negative, my bathroom and room stink of sewage. At least one of the drains in the bathroom was not correctly plumbed and it is open to the sewer. Like I said, this is a nice looking hotel with a great location, but in 2025 the flaws I listed are unacceptable in a three-star. I might consider staying here during cool seasons, but I'd still have to smell the sewage. You decide whether the price is worth the downside. However, we believe this was an unfortunate coincidence. Indeed, our rooms are all different, and some have air conditioning (note that we offer fans if needed in the other ones) as well as a view of the street or gardens, rather than the interior courtyard. It is largely to ensure that the rooms are suitable for our guests that we accompany them to get their impressions and assign them a room more in line with their tastes if the one originally chosen deviates too much from their original taste. Unfortunately, all of this remains quite subjective and depends on the individual. Some will really appreciate a given room, while others won't at all. If we aren't directly notified of an issue, we're unable to intervene, especially if the hotel is fully booked. That is why we invite you to provide this type of feedback in advance to improve your own experience on site. We agree with you that some elements remain beyond our control, such as very occasional sewer backflows depending on the weather or noisy neighborhood activity. Furthermore, the soundproofing of the rooms normally mitigates any noise disturbances if the window is closed.   Fantastic stay and welcoming staff.

  I was very impressed with how helpful and friendly the staff were. We came with our bikes which needed setting up in a dry secure area which they were able to facilitate. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again.   Great little hotel in perfect location

  The hotel is small but in the perfect location. Quite cute. The rooms with a terrace are large (for Europe) and the access to the terrace was great. The service and staff attitude was also great. They have parking but limited so make sure to pre-book.   Excellent hotel and A must for location

  This hotel is excellent value for money. Very clean and staff excellent could not have been in a better location. I will definitely go back and stay with L’Hôtel.We used the airport shuttle bus. As you get off the bus keep the train line on your right. Just yards away are the steps upto the bridge. When you get to the top take the right turn and walk down the road don’t take the natural bend but cross over the road you’ll pass a restaurant/bar and the hotel is located a few yards away.Note when you go back to the airport by shuttle bus go to where you were dropped off and cross the road. Just before you get to the river the bus stop can be seen. Really easy both ways.We also used the trams which again is close to the hotel . The Nante voyage card included airport bus and trams.Enjoy your stay.
