This historic city hotel is located in the heart of Nantes, just near the opera house and the city's famous square, Graslin. The nearest beach is around 4.5 km from the hotel and guests will find local attractions, such as the Chateau des Ducs de Bretagne, L'ile de Nantes and Passage Pommeraye all in the immediate vicinity.     First time visitors to this regional city. Hotel is ideal base to explore Nantes taking in the castle, historic buildings, plazas, museums & theatres. This is a walking city & hotel places you at the centre! A good value, quiet hotel with very comfortable rooms, all the required facilities & an engaging, multi-lingual reception staff made this an easy stay. There are multiple restaurants,cafes,bars within immediate vicinity. Would we stay here again? - in a heartbeat!     Great hotel situated in an old grand building nicely refurbished and renovated. The location is central with plenty of restaurants and shopping. But to get there by car requires some effort as it's located in mostly pedestrian area and you have to get passage thru an entrance to the plaza closed by a telescopic column . We had to park on Rue de Voltaire and walk to the hotel for the instructions. And the front desk staff were just amazing. A young beautiful lady Manon walked with us to the plaza entrance, provided her credentials to the column operator to have it lowered, accompanied our car to their parking, and helped me driving thru the narrow gates. Very nice and helpful indeed! The room was good size with high ceilings, all new and shiny.     Great place to stay, perfect location

    Excellent location in the core of the city - we walked everywhere and there are tons of restaurants and bars in the area. Modern interior in a historical building. Staff are very helpful and attentive. Our room was soundproof, well-lit and spacious with an excellent shower, a very comfortable bed and full control of the air system (heat or cool).     Excellent hotel in perfect location

    I stayed in the Oceania with my husband. We had a deluxe double room which was very spacious and comfortable, with coffee machine, robes, slippers, plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space.Breakfast was varied and very nice indeed, something for everyone, you could have cereals, fruits, pastries, cooked breastfast, cold meats, cheeses and best of all, smoked salmon.The staff were were wonderful, and extremely helpful. We dealt with a lady called Manon or similar, she was so nice and helpful.The location of this hotel is perfect, and probably in the prettiest part of Nantes, right on Graslin.We ate in Chez Franklin as recommended by the hotel staff, and had snails for the first time, very nice restaurant & very popular. I'd highly recommend this hotel.
