    A bit of a treat for cyclists

    although a few short kilometres from the Loire veto route, this is well worth the detour for the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Sandra is the most cheerful hotelier you could hope to meet. Good breakfast and supper available both on the hotel site itself and over the road in a restaurant.     I was there for a business trip. Reception on a people side is nice but the architecture is old fashion. Rooms can be big, mine was enormous as I got an handicapped room. But unfortunately the WIFI signal doesn't go trough this room which was really upsetting. Ask for a cable at the front desk, got one but was really short, implying a not so comfortable position. (i was not able to exchange rooms as the hotel was fully booked)Hotel ok but you have better in the area for similar prices.

    We can only re-confirm what the other reviews have mentioned. It doesn't look much from the outside, but once you get off the road, past the gates, its a comfortable place to stay. The courtyard area looks like a nice place to pass the time on a warm day. The rooms are clean & comfortable. Great value for money.One suggestion that we have to all travelers is to try the restaurant at the hotel. It has an excellent reputation locally and was jam-packed and full of atmosphere the night we arrived. Though we didn't eat there ourselves, we did have lunch at the restaurant at nearby Golf l'Ile d'Or which is also run by the hotel (and can confirm that the food was excellent).

    Despite its location on the edge of an industrial area and “dodgy” first impressions this place turned out surprisingly well.Once you’ve entered through the security gates the accommodation block was very clean and tidy if lacking in atmosphere, the rooms are large with excellent bathrooms (one of the best showers in France!). However it was the restaurant across the road which turned out to be the star; the welcome was great and the food even better, the seafood and foie gras in particular extremely good value.This hotel would make a useful overnight stop for people heading from the western channel ports to the south of France but not for an extended stay.
