Hotel Boronali - a good experience!

    rating12 Feb 2026

The hotel offers good value for money. However, the elevator is extremely small: a person with a medium-sized suitcase barely cares. In the dining room, there is room for improvement, as the area where dishes are placed/washed is not separated by any wall, and the noise of dishes can be disturbing. In addition, there is no ambient music that could dampen the atmosphere created by the noise of dishes stored in the dishwasher.Breakfast is basic, but decent, and includes fresh fruit. Great Hotel

    rating12 Jan 2026

My 20yr old daughter and I stayed 4th -9th January. The hotel is perfectly situated in the Monmatre area with great public transport, bars, cafes and literally a 5 min walk from Sacre Couer. The hotel is small but perfectly adequate with everything you need for your stay. It is clean and fresh and the staff are lovely, polite and although we didnt have breakfast in the hotel ( too many cafes to choose from lol ) tea and coffee was available as required. We were also able to leave our suitcases on the last day as we had a late flight. In summary, a great hotel at a great price. We will book again.

    Lovely hotel!

Lovely hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a short walk from Gare du Nord and a quick metro into the city centre so really conveniently located too. Would highly recommend! Jean-François R, at Hotel Boronali, responded to this review Dear James W,Thank you for your great review! We are thrilled to read that you appreciated your stay with us, and found it ideally placed close to the Gare du Nord and to many metro lines direct to the city center. Fabulous Stay

    rating16 May 2025

Just home after a four night stay. We didn’t arrive till just before midnight due to a delayed flight. On arrival, reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. Offering free tea and coffee, still and sparkling water which can be taken to the room. There’s a small dining area for breakfast which is €14pp. We were in room 106. No view but we didn’t plan on looking out the window during our stay so this didn’t bother us. The room was spotless, very clean. Double bed is comfortable, I wasn’t keen on the pillows but my daughter lived them. Bed is comfortable. The lifting was warm and cosy. Bathroom was small but adaptable enough. Shower had good power and the towels were fluffy and new. Tv didn’t work but maybe it was something we were doing, it didn’t bother us at all, so much so we didn’t complain. It was just for some background nose whilst getting ready. Great air conditioning. Carpets felt nice and clean. We were more than happy with the size of the room and the cleanliness of the room. Bed linen and towels were changed every day. Bins emptied daily too. Down points: First morning we were woken up with fire alarm around 4am. Went off after 5 mins. Second morning we woke up to fore alarm around 7am, again went off after 5 mins. 4th morning we were woken up around 8:30am to drilling. This went on all morning till we checked out at 12 noon. We were getting up anyway but it was quite loud. On checking out we realised someone was putting new grippers on the stair carpets and trims. I appreciate these things need to be done and made o complaint as we were getting up anyway. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. 4 min walk to chateau rouge metro. Very central and great area to stay. Highly recommend. Jean-François ROBERT, Service clients/Réception at Hotel Boronali, responded to this review Dear Laura B,Thank you for your detailed feedback. I am glad that you enjoyed your experience with us, even though some things weren't up to our usual standards. There was an unfortunate false fire alarm during your stay. Please accept our sincere apologies regarding this inconvenience. We did find out what went wrong and the issue has been resolved. There also has been a maintenance in the stairs, which temporarily caused some heavy noise. Once again, we apologize for this. As you said, this needed to be done. Still, I would've hoped that it wouldn't have bothered our guests. We are really pleased that despite those inconveniences, you had a wonderful experience with us. Thank you for being so kind towards our team, we really appreciate it. I am taking your word for it and I will be expecting your return at the Boronali!I hope to welcome you again very soon, and this time, for a flawless experience!Best regards,Aurore

Could not want for a better hotel

    rating08 May 2025

After seeing the negative reviews about how small this hotel is, we didn’t expect too much, and our expectations were exceeded in every way.- the rooms are small, we are an average sized couple (5ft 10/5ft 7) but had no trouble with space, and they’re lovely and clean- ours was room 501, facing the back of the hotel, it’s nice and quiet.- the bed is extremely comfortable- the hotel staff are super helpful, they couldnt do enough for us and spoke perfect English - we ordered takeaway to be delivered and they let us eat it in the restaurant area- they were more then happy to help us book a table at a restaurant in the city when we had difficulty with the website- offered us free coffee and water refills -offered to look after our bags after we checked out Basically the staff were so kind to us and made us feel very welcome, we will be happy to come back to the Boronali. Jean-François ROBERT, Service clients/Réception at Hotel Boronali, responded to this review Dear Reemslaw,Thank you very much for such a kind review! We are absolutely pleased to read that everything was up to your expectations. The Small Double Room you stayed in is indeed small as you said, but it is quiet, cosy and comfortable. What a pleasure to see that our entire staff went above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Your feedback truly is the one we strive for!We are taking your word for it and we will be waiting for your return at the Boronali!Kind regards,Aurore
