    SCAMMERS. Kicked us out in the streets at night

    DO NOT STAY HERE🚩🚩🚩SCAMMERS.🚩🚩I had already paid a huge amount for this hotel via Booking.com. After my flight was delayed I arrived there at 2 AM and the reception told me that I had not paid and could not let me in. Even though I showed him the receipt, the receptionist refused to let me in. They wanted me to pay the same amount AGAIN. SUCH SCAMMERS. After I talked with the Booking support, the support agent gave the receptionist the guarantee, that the amount was paid and asked him to let me in, but the COLD HEARTED BLONDISH RECEPTIONIST refused to let me in. The young man at the reception kicked me and my mother out in the streets AT 3 AM. I HAD TO find hotels in the middle of PARIS in the PEAK TOURIST SEASON. They wanted to rip me off by paying double. AWFUUl.

    Very clean and quiet area. Rooms are tight, not as shown in advertisement. We rented the room that showed 2 twin beds separated and looked very roomy & they were not as we entered the room. The front desk staff were so polite and friendly and I was also being kind to them. They claimed it's an old picture, really it's to get you to rent a room. Anyway, they were kind and came up and separated the beds and that's all we needed. The beds were comfy and the blankets too, however not the pillows, very hard. Used the deco pillow. The shower was amazing. Rain shower and great water pressure and hot water. No plugs in bathroom for my USA gadgets. In room there were 3 plugs all together and there was a body mirror so that's where I had to straighten my hair. The hair dryer is an old timer but it does the job. I was just mostly upset that the room I selected wasn't the room. The staff were friendly always to us. I asked if there was a Chinese restaurant near and they said there's a Japanese place around the corner and we ate there twice. And there were many other places to eat as well. I'd stay here again but with my husband NOT my daughter. They did have a cooler with a selection of drinks at the front desk. Also the door slams shut and when you open it, it feels jammed like the wood swelled. The floors are uneven like it flooded and then left to warp. Like the title; mixed thoughts. As I always say it could've been worse. Be thankful.

    A short stay in August

    We stayed here as a family at very short notice for one night in late August. Osama on the front desk was wonderful, a real credit to the business. Attentive, polite, accommodating and friendly. We arrived quite late in the evening, and nothing was too much of a problem for him. His customer service was absolutely faultless.The hotel itself is compact but lovely. The location is good, with public transport just over a 5 minute walk away at Javel - Andre Citroen (RER C line) and Javel (RER C line). The Eiffel Tower is within walking distance along the banks of the Seine if time allows (~30 mins). Walking one block down to Rue Gutenberg gives wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower, especially when it is lit / shines at night.A very short, yet comfortable and enjoyable, stay. Again, many thanks to Osama - a wonderful professional.

    Advertised as a *** hotel, l cannot fathom how that was evaluated.It was rather dilapidated and as l was on the ground floor , lacking seriously in light and privacy. However, the location was most convenient for me which is why l booked myself there.
