I had a very disappointing stay at Hotel Viador in Paris. Despite booking a family room, we were initially given a very small single room and told we would be moved the next day. On the second day, our personal belongings were taken and moved to another room without any prior notice. The receptionist was unprofessional, speaking in an aggressive and unfriendly manner. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel.

    Convenient stay in Paris

    rating30 May 2022

It was a convenient stay for me in Viator hotel as central, not too expensive, and clean.Staff very friendly and accommodating. It would be nice if a kettle was available in the rooms. The only bad thing is that the pictures on booking website are a bit misleading. I don't think my bedroom was that stylish, but it was comfortable and clean though.Smell of joints in the middle of the night...

    Ticked the boxes

OK a 4 star review does not mean 4 star hotel. I stayed here as had passport issue and had to extend trip on tight budget and this meant I had to stay in v budget hotel. I opted for hotel on cost with shared bathroom and shower on another floor. Firstly I was on 3rd floor with only stairs to get there but as active person this was fine. I found all the staff to be pleasant and was given a adequate but clean little room. 2 nights at this hotel and room cleaned every day with clean towel. Not ideal to go to another floor for shower but was clean each time I used. I also asked for hot cup tea one night and this was obliged with no cost. Area had lots of bakeries and everything you need including tram across road. Don't grumble on social media if you pay little and expect the ritz but generally in a desparate situation this hotel served me well. Did not have breakfast but lots places near.

    Never Again!

    rating28 Jul 2018

My friends and I stayed here for 1 night. When we walked into the room we were immediately hit by a foul smell. It actually smelled like mold. We ignored it because we didn’t plan to spend much time in the room just to sleep. Went into the bathroom and the shower curtain was disgusting. Ignored that...we just decided not to take a shower only use the sink (we had a private bathroom which was a plus considering other reviews state they had to use a shared bathroom). Final straw: after a long but fun day we decide to take a rest and what do we see-bed bugs! It was 3 in the morning and we were done. We went to the reception area and informed the desk clerk of the bed bugs. Even asked him if he wanted to come upstairs and look-he refused stating he believed us in the most nonchalant voice. Obviously this has happened before because he was not alarmed by our findings. He said he had no other rooms so we checked out. Luckily I told my friend to take a pic which helped us in getting a refund(which was great considering it was non-refundable). Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. The price is amazing but you truly get what you pay.
