  Manager very rude, Facilities very Crude! Avoid this hotel!

  Manager Rude, Facilities Crude! Avoid this hotel - deserves Minus Star!! We stayed in this hotel on 15 May 2024 and had a terrible experience!! Manager was rude and unfriendly, beds so narrow that we nearly fell off, air conditioning did not work, TV did not show English channels!! We had just checked into this hotel, and while in the lobby, my wife had severe cramps in the leg. With help, we got her a chair from nearby to help her sit down while she was in pain. Interestingly, the lady manager stared at my wife a few times. Finally when my wife was feeling better, she got up. The manager in a loud voice told us ‘ Put that chair back’! How rude and unprofessional!! My wife was so upset and was crying!! Is this how a hotel treats its guests? Later when I took up the matter with the manager, she refused to apologise. How does a hotel employ such rude and unfriendly person?The air conditioning did not work despite requests! Couples are given two single narrow beds, no double beds!! The TV does not show any English language channels!This hotel is 0 or minus star!! Avoid this hotel!   The hotel is very close to city center while it is a bit far from hassle of the busy downtown. Everything is available however sometimes in a new way. Close to very good restaurants, don't forget that they have pizza service, delivered to hotel. Ask for a room with a view toward canal (the photo is from our room window). The perfect double glass windows keep road noise away from your ears.The hotel staff are so helpful and don't hesitate to ask them for help and guide. Their 24 hours reception also is very good option.

  Friendly staff available for check in till 10 pm. Room was recently renovated with new furniture, TV and shower. Comfortable bed and nice adjustable lamps on each side with outlets for charging phones or laptop. Basic and reasonable especially if you just want a place to sleep. We especially liked the free parking but ended up leaving the car parked on the premises and walked to the park, city shops and restaurants instead because they were so close. Typical French breakfast available for a fee.   Perfectly reasonable but ...

  Check in was painless. The room was clean. The shower good. Not enough pillows. It was perfectly reasonable, until we got home.When we got back to the UK I discovered that a contactless debit card that I'd left in my bag in the room had "gone missing".Leaves a bad tast knowing that someone went through our stuff and then tried to steal from us.Spoilt what was an amazing trip to Toulouse.

  Basic and Unimpressive!

  Not much to recommend this soulless hotel - indifferent staff and basic amenities - quite a long walk to the station and city centre so not suitable for sightseeing. Only one towel in room - no hairdryer - hot water not always available - disappointing!
