Decent room with good people working the front desk

This hotel was walking distance from the ferry terminal and the market. It is the last hotel on the strip so it can feel isolated. Prepare to use steps. Currency exchange available on site. Breakfast is not available. No pool.

Don't go if you have other options

This hotel was the worst we have ever stayed in, any where in the world. We was a forced stay here after our travel company left us with a cancellation of the Hotel Intercontinental at very short notice. We were given a room with a "garden view" no balcony. It looked onto a spiral staircase for fire evacuation, and a couple of trees and carpark. To add insult to injury we found Agoda had double billed us for four nights instead of two nights. (Still to be resolved).Papeete was fully booked with very few options left to us. At the time, this hotel was the only one available for two nights after our cruise. The photos from the Hotel's own Website in no way reflect the actual state or description of amenities of the hotel. To say it is poor, is an understatement. This hotel deserves not even a single star rating.(rated a 3)They state they have kitchenettes. A kettle and two polystyrene cups x2 satchels of coffee and x2 sugar bags and no creamers or tea bags available, even from reception. The TV provided is 24inch not 32 as stated and is not connected to a satelite TV service as stated on the Web page. It is also too small for viewing across the room, but saying that, it is useless any way, unless you can understand French. The rooms and bathroom are filthy with grime on the bathroom floor, walls are also splattered with...?There is only one filthy glass door remaining on the shower, the missing screen has the former mounting holes filled with toilet paper? The hand basin is large (baby bath size) so no storage space is provided on the bench top. It has no drain plug or insert so it is possible to loose your dentures , tooth brush or jewelry if accidentally dropped into the sink. The shower hand piece refuses to stay at a fixed level except on top of the tap, (waist height), the overhead shower is also filthy with corrosion.Only two bath towels are supplied and a paper tissue dispenser, sits on the floor as a door jamb? Towel hooks are missing off the wall. The furniture seems to be a collection of discarded thrift shop "stuff."Some one else previously stated that the Hotel was a former Hospital? No doubt painted by one of the patients while in a delirium. Paint is all over the place. Gurney door protectors still protect most of the two-way hinged doors and walls through out the building. The A/C works ok but deflector fins are broken. The electrics are also dodgy, the table lamp on/off switch had to be jiggled to operate, the standing floor light had a broken middle tube allowing it lean at an angle. It was "fixed" by clear adhesive tape wrapped around the tube.On the positive side it is close to the port a 10 min walk, but in a heavy dirty industrial area.Only Breakfast is offered and is meager and even reception staff advised us to eat at another near by hotel. In conclusion this is a last stay resort Hotel. The back packer Hotel may be a better option?

    Don't stay here!

Hotel is run down. No-where to fill up water bottles in the lobby or throughout the hotel. Street side room on a Saturday night next to a food truck lot and loud traffic all night. The room has a out of place step up from the entrance and bathroom that's a safety hazard during the night if you have to go to the bathroom. No wash cloths just two large towels. Booked this through Delta Travel and not a grate choice to stay in. Keep looking don't stop here for good nights rest.

This hotel was bad. I knew going in it wasn’t a 5 star hotel, we just needed something for a night before heading to the airport. The shower was dirty. The door had something running down it. The toilet was broken and just kept running all night. The pillows felt as if they were stuffed with tumbleweeds. The paint was chipped in many places. Stay somewhere else.

    Motel 2 stars at best.

    rating05 Mar 2025

Just ok. I’m glad we were only staying less than 9 hours. Very much a no frills basic motel room that we got before an early flight. Think Rodeway inn or Motel 6 in the US. It was clean and had a few towels but the bed wasn’t comfortable. There was quite a bit of noise all night long and that was a random Tuesday night. It has air conditioning so that was a plus. Some parts of the building in the halls were very dark and didn’t have a/c. The other plus was that we could walk to downtown and cruise area for dinner. I don’t think we’d stay again though. Just wasn’t what we look for in a hotel when we travel,
