    Perfect for me - rooms quiet, duvets/mattresses excellent, staff friendly. Breakfast solid. Good location. Parking garage across street is only drawback. Because of availability issues during the Christmas market, I had to stay at three different hotels overall, BW was the best.

    We stayed three nights in this hotel. And it was possibly one of the best places I've stayed. Everything from comfort to breakfast was spot on!! The bed and the pillows were heaven. I was contemplating asking if I could buy a pillow of them!! A day without good! The breakfast was brilliant, a great range to choose from and really lovely presentation. They even made their own honey mustard which was really tasty! On the Monday morning as it wasn't as busy we put in a breakfast preference the night before and that came out in a lovely presentation to our table. Every staff member was friendly and helpful and we couldn't ask for any better.

    Very well situated hotel within a few minutes walk of the historic centre, and about 20 mins walk from the station. Remarkably quiet given the location. I had a single room, which was on the small side, as singles go, with the bed up against a wall along one side. Breakfast was very good, and the breakfast staff are friendly. There are a range of restaurants nearby.

    We had a good stay at this hotel overall, with just a couple of small points to mention. The room layout was very efficient compared with other chains (with built‑in wardrobes on both sides of the bed), which made it easy to store our luggage. Both the room and the bathroom were clean and modern.The mattress unfortunately sloped slightly, which meant our sleep was not quite as comfortable as it could have been. We also felt that the bathroom ventilation wasn’t working properly, and the room seemed a little on the damp side.Check‑in was friendly. We didn’t try the breakfast, as we preferred to have breakfast out in town. Another real advantage is the late check‑out at 12 noon, which allowed us to leave our bags in the room, go out for a bit in the morning, and then return later for check‑out.

    Has a one night stay in July, the reception staff were very attentive, our room wasn’t ready as we were early, they stored our luggage and put it in our room when we came back to check in. Room was exceptionally clean with water tea & coffee which is a nice bonus as we have stayed at several that don’t provide this. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve had, fantastic selection of hot and cold food and all incredibly fresh, breakfast staff were helpful and friendly. All in all a great stay. Didn’t get a 5 star as no onsite parking and our room was quite compact but that’s what you get for staying central.
