Location

Located in the centre of Berlin, this city hotel is just a stroll away from the exclusive boutiques of Kurfürstendamm and well connected with other parts of the city, with Zoologischer Garten metro station a 5-minute walk away, the bus stop on Bleibtreustrasse 200 m away, and Savignyplatz S-Bahn (urban rail) station 800 m away. The exclusive KaDeWe department store is a 15-minute walk from the business hotel, the Gedächtniskirche church is 5 min on foot, the Siegessäule tower is 3 km and the Brandenburg Gate is 4 km.

Facility

The hotel has 216 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 9 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are provided. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

A hot tub can soothe sore muscles (for a fee). Leisure activities and facilities at the hotel include a gym. For a fee, guests can also enjoy cycling/mountain biking, a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Various dining options are available, including a non-smoking restaurant, a breakfast room and a bar. Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. At breakfast, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Special meals, including diet meals, are also available.     Rated as a four star hotel. In my opinion, more like a 2 or 3 star.Rooms were an okay size. No body lotion, no bathroom, complimentary water in room. Towels very thin. Mold in shower, Bed ok but pillows are awful. A/C not great. Room never got cool and it’s was around 85 degrees outside.Not centrally located. About a 40 min walk to center of town. Breakfast was good. Can order eggs and coffee from waitstaff.Front desk staff nice and welcoming.     Poor wifi

    We ate staying in this hotel for many years during ITB, and I must say that I am disapointed wuth the wifi connection. I have mentioned it 3 times on the reception, and they didn't do anything to solve the priblem. It was in the room 516, my colleagus had more luch, and a bit better wifi, but I was not able to do my job from the room. I do not think that we will come again, even though we take minimum 6 rooms every year.     Fantastic stay!

    Very nice hotel! Big room, very comfortable king size bed!! Bathroom a little tight but very clean and functional. The hotel is located approximately 30 minutes (give or take) on public transport into the city centre. We got the U-bahn from Uhlandstrasse (7 minute walk from hotel), or the S-bahn from Sevignyplatz (around 10 minute walk from hotel). On both routes, there are great connections to the other side of the city, plus everywhere central you wish to go. The area where the hotel is has lots of restaurants and bars, so if you're too tired after a day of sightseeing, there is plenty of choice locally!! Highly recommend Abba Berlin!!     Nice hotel but watch out for the mice

    The hotel itself was nice and the rooms were exactly as expected. The major problem was the running mouse in the restaurant. The receptionist commented that Berlin is a big city and that’s all he had to say. Really wouldn’t recommend anyone eating in a place where live animals on the floors are not considered a problem.
