    Good value, great breakfast!

    rating31 Oct 2019

Stayed at the Hotel Europa for three nights. Check in was fast and the front desk polite. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was buffet style with a wide selection of hot and cold foods. The hotel is centrally located near the main train station and close to may restaurants and shops. It is not very quiet (avoid rooms beside the noisy elevator) but all around very good value.

    Perfect location

    rating12 Jul 2019

This hotel only around 600m or 6 minutes walking from Bonn Central Station and tram stops are in front of the Hotel. Metro Station, supermarket Rewe, laundromat, restaurants and bakeries are nearby. This family-owned hotel is comfortable although the furnitures are outdated. It is better to choose the room with the backyard views as it is quieter. If in the website is written that iron and iron facility are provided, it means that you have to bring your clothes downstairs and use the iron available behind the front desk. Breakfast is good with breads, cheeses, juices, chicken, ham, yogurts, fruits, boiled and scrambled egg. We will have same menu everyday so that you can imagine how bored will be if you stay longer.

Rare family owned Hotel in the heart of Bonn

    rating08 Mar 2019

The hotel is located in the city centre, directly beside the Tram station Stadthaus. It’s a family owned Hotel, so the is lovely and kind and cares about all need for their customers. The rooms are equipped with all you need, a modern TV, mini bar, a closet, desk, chair, mirror and a comfortable bed. The bathroom also has all what it needs in a modern hotel. The rooms are clean. If your are sensible for noise, ask for a room to the back, so you won’t here the Tram to the streetside. The breakfast offers also all what you need and they have a coffee service for the table. It’s a bit like a secret hotel in the modern franchise hotel system.Only the WiFi regulations are not so modern. You got only 500 mb for 7 days.

    Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

    rating13 Dec 2018

The Hotel is located just off the busy street. Every few minutes a tram rattles by and if you are on the first and second road facing rooms, you will definitely have a disturbed sleep. And no! The windows don't filter out the sound although a few reviews put up by others say they do filter it out. But I definitely disagree. Further, the family-run outfit scrimps on the heating bill and I think they have a timer to switch off the heating around 3:00 AM when they believe you are fast asleep. Th heating system kicks in again around 6:30 when one normally awakens! My sleep (and that of my fellow guests) was disturbed and when we felt cold two days in a row, we checked the room heaters... and needless to say... it was just barely warm. Our enquiries with the staff the next morning were brushed off in a manner most people may find rude or indifferent. The bathroom is very tiny almost the size one finds in aircraft. So if you are well built, a word of advice.. don't step into the shower cubicle..you may not be able to come out!The first night there was a biscuit on the pillow but none on the next two nights we stayed there! Small things but apparently the owners don't care. The bed is awful as is the single huge pillow kept there to help you smother out the noise of the passing trams. (On a lighter note, if you happen to suffocate while smothering out the noise, the Hotel will not be responsible!) More like a bunk than a bed. (See photo!)Breakfast is good. the fresh fruit (organic!) as well as the eggs, sausages, et all were delicious and probably the only saving grace of the establishment. The family members (I think they are family and not staff) who look after the breakfast arrangements are warmer and more generous than some of the others. All in all a place that must actually be closed down by the authorities but ok if you are an itinerant salesman or one who has stayed in the place for the last 20 years on multiple visits and know the folks that run the place.

    Budget but brilliant

    rating27 Sept 2018

Perfect central location. Parking downstairs in the garage and even though we had a big car and it was tight we still got in there. Lift straight up from garage to rooms. This hotel is a budget hotel with a fantastic location. Just right outside this hotel is the old towns with all the bars and restaurants. Yes its basic but its clean and everything you expect you get. Breakfast was really nice with a lot of choice and hot food. Disliked · We did request low level rooms because of mobility issues but they gave us rooms on the 5th floor instead.
