The hotel is lovely and well located, close to the centre of the old town. We had a very spacious room with large, sparkling bathroom. Everything was very clean. Although there were a lot of people staying, we didn’t hear a sound. Reception staff spoke good English and were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good. Wifi was fast and reliable. There was no electric kettle in the room, but this was supplied on request. Recommended.

This hotel, in a historic and intresting building, is in a great location making all the tourist sites easily accessible. Although we booked a standard room it was huge. Görlitz lived up to its reputation as being culturaly fascinating and the hotel is also near the bridge leading to Poland - it was fun to go for a cocktail in a different country

While on a whirlwind of a Girlfriend's European trip, we booked 2 rooms at this old and very quaint hotel in the heart of Gorlitz. It proved to be a most excellent choice in that the service was very good, the rooms large & spacious, the beds incredibly comfortable with wonderful bedding & pillows and a perfect location for walking everywhere around town and even over the footbridge into Poland. The bathroom supplied extra travel needs and the rooms were so pleasant with several windows looking toward the church and church courtyard. A major delight was the morning's breakfast... simply outstanding!! Breads, rolls, teas, coffee, cereals and many hot breakfast choices. Overall, Hotel Tuchmacher warmed our hearts & bellies with the homemade fruit jams... especially the plum! If we could just acquire the recipe for the plum jam!!! Oh, how happy they would make 4 American gals who could not get enough of the bursting flavor of these joyful jams!!! We left wishing we had yet another day/night in this charming and very historic town. Definitely would stay here again and again!!

Very center of beautiful town. Few steps to Polish part, few step to old (very old) town main square. Several options for tourists. Romantik hotel is a nice place to stay: super helpful reception, quiet room, tasty breakfast. Would like to come back.

Very comfortable suite and great location - the beauty of the cute Gorlitz town is here. Safe parking not more than 250 m away. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. And good beer in the minibar. Thank you.
