This designer hotel lies in the heart of Düsseldorf just a short walk from Königsallee and the picturesque old town that lies beside the River Rhine and offers a brewery and bars, one of which has the longest bar in the world. Art enthusiasts will love this city in which culture is in the air with the works of Picasso and Beuys on display in the galleries, Heinrich Heine at the Institut, the Deutsche Oper beside the Rhine, cabaret and other works of art. The Neue Zollhof by Frank O. Gehry in the redeveloped harbour area and the Japanese culture in the EKO-Haus are two award-winning exhibitions open to guests. Links to the public transport network are to found just 500 m from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 386 non-smoking rooms, including 13 single rooms, which are located on 11 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Remarkable place for Interpack fair

    We came for the Interpack 2026 and seemingly choose the perfect hotel for us. Clayton Hotel Düsseldorf had large and very spacey rooms, excellent reception service and the bar staff was just as great. Big thanks to Imane, Mireia and Fernando from reception and Lorenzo and Maikel from the bar team, you guys have been amazing! Everyday was an experience of its own. From breakfast to arranging transport to Interpack until later on being back at the hotel and go for dinner and drinks the team really made sure we‘ve been having a great time. We had some AC problems, but rooms were quickly change so technicals could get to work, very uncomplicated, we even got help moving our things from one room to the other, we didn’t even had to ask and when we had another issue on the room Marius came up to check on us and solved it quickly. The pool also was very nice in the evenings.

    My stay at Clayton Hotel Düsseldorf was genuinely pleasant and easy from start to finish. The hotel itself is comfortable and well-run, but what really stood out was the people.Benji, the General Manager, clearly sets a great tone in the hotel everything feels welcoming without being over the top. Marcus, the DGM, was also very approachable and made sure are stay was as comfortable as possible with great recommendations in the city. Overall, it’s a place where you feel looked after in a natural, no-fuss way. I’d happily stay again. Thanks to all the team for a lovely stay.

    Our stay at the Clayton Hotel Düsseldorf over Christmas was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and effortlessly well-organized, which made it such a special experience for both me and my husband.The festive atmosphere throughout the hotel was absolutely magical. The decorations were beautiful without being over the top, and really captured the spirit of Christmas. It created such a cosy and relaxing environment, exactly what we were hoping for during a winter getaway.The location is another huge highlight. The hotel is perfectly situated, with just a short walk to the Düsseldorf Christmas Market, which is absolutely worth visiting. Being so close meant we could easily soak up the festive atmosphere, enjoy the stalls, and return to the comfort of the hotel whenever we liked. It’s also conveniently close to a great range of shops, making it ideal for a bit of Christmas shopping too.Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we both slept wonderfully every night. Little touches, like the quality of the amenities and the attention to detail, didn’t go unnoticed.The staff truly made the experience exceptional.
