This city business hotel is very close to Düsseldorf, right in the middle of the Ratingen-Ost Business Park, just a few minutes' walk from the old city centre of Ratingen and the bus and train stations.     It looks like a nice modern hotel and in principle it is. Excellent parking facilities under the hotel. Reception was friendly. Rooms are spacious but very basic. The fridge was locked and no water in the room. You could order drinks from the reception but mini-bar was locked. Coffee making facilities without any coffee or tea; a kettle, 2 mugs and 2 coffee spoons. Extremely thin walls, so your snoring neighbour lies almost in your bed.The hotel pretends to be very green and environmentally friendly .. so was wondering why they have not fixed the toilet which kept on running all night. Looking at the toilet, it has been running for months..Breakfast can better be skipped. You are better off going around the corner to the bakery and get some nice fresh rolls and fresh coffee. There were 3 slices of cheese, which have been there for some time, as they were dried out and corners curled in. There was some scrambled something … could have been egg in a former life, so I preferred a boiler egg: regrettably boiled until the end of its life. Best thing was the bottles of juice ….

    Rooms are so so basic. No minibar unless you Request. No tea and coffee making facilities. Stuffy non air conditioned room. No iron; no hair dryer...there was a bed and sheets. Must be able to do better.

    Hotel has a good location. Short drive from airport. They have nice parking garage underground. Checking in was easy and fast. Also checking out was fast like you would expect for this hotel. I think the hotel is more suitable for business traveler than tourist. Hotel is good for business traveler. Room was in good condition. Clean and big enough. Breakfast was OK but little limited. This could be improved. Would I stay here again? Yes I would.

    Nice en comfortabel hotel Fortuna a business trip. Just a disapointment that the bar was closed on sunday evening already at 18:00. Hotel is on walking distance from the city center without a lot of restaurants andere pubs

    Reasonable Hotel but very stuffy, basic rooms

    Hotel is kind of convenient for Dusseldorf, in a small town with just a few restaurants and bars. Nothing wrong with the lobby, bar, breakfast is all acceptable for the kind of hotel, and the Bar staff were very friendly. Main problem is the quality of sleep. or lack of sleep. The hotel is kept, just far too hot to be comfortable, so the only way to cool the room is to sleep with the windows open, and then you get constantly woken up by traffic and general noise. Ventilation is poor in the bathroom, a shower turns the entire hotel room into steamy sauna. Overall it could be 4-5 Stars if only the HVAC were fixed.
