    Stayed in rhe hotel 3 nights for interpack trade fair in May 2026 together with my husband. I liked the location in the rather quiet harbour area, but the room walls are so thin that you even hear the electric window blinds from next door move up and down, or the movement of the elevators outside. The room was quite spacious, well cleaned, and the beds comfortable. The really appaling thing though was that my husband, who stayed 2 nights longer than me, got his things removed from the hotel room after I checked out. As he wanted to enter the room after work at the trade fair his room card did not work anymore. The hotel staff had taken his personal things fom the room and put them in a bag in a storage room!! He even had to discuss with the people at the check-in desk that they gave him back the room which had been booked for him foe another 2 nights!! I'v never experienced such an UNPROFESSIONAL, INCONSIDERATE WAY OF WORKING in my life, and I travelled a lot. If you are staying at Innside, be aware ...     Excellent stay – best choice in MedienHafen

    We had a wonderful stay at INNSiDE by Meliá Düsseldorf. The location in MedienHafen is perfect, with great connections and fantastic views. Our room was spotless and extremely clean, with an amazing view over the harbor and even towards the Altstadt.The lounge bar on the top floor is a real highlight – stylish, relaxed, and a great place to enjoy a drink with a view. The staff were super friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which really made a difference.A big plus is the free minibar, which adds to the overall comfort and value. Everything about the hotel felt pleasant and well thought out.Parking is available but very limited, so make sure to reserve a spot in advance if you’re coming by car.We have stayed in all the hotels in MedienHafen over the years, and this one is by far the best choice. Excellent value for money and overall the best experience in the area. Highly recommended!     Stayed here on business great check in great staff the room was outstanding and with freebies coffee and soft drinks in the fridge went in the Sky bar it was an amazing view and the staff and food were great breakfast spot on

    A let down in Dusseldorf

    The hotel is in the business area of Dusseldorf, which is just as well as the room makes you feel you have just pulled an all-nighter at the office, albeit with a bed in the room. It may be to some people's taste but it wasn't to ours. The blinds are a pain, the auto blinds didn't close all the way and the manual blinds were worn out with snapped chains tied together. The room was of a good size, but part of that could be down to the fact that the bathroom is in the room with only the toilet separated. The view from the room was great. One other good point was the closeness of the 707 tram stop.Reception staff were functional but not user friendly, you would have thought that guests leaving bags on check out in the morning to collect later in the day was a new fangled idea as they seemed surprised when we asked to leave bags at the hotel for a few hours.Had a drink in the bar on two of the nights, service was poor to non existent with staff having to be told to approach customers to take drink orders and on one occasion it requiring three members of staff to get and pay for the bill. We were intending to have a meal in the hotel to celebrate one of our birthdays, but were told that we had to book online via a third party website which just seems odd considering we were hotel guests and another member of staff had already taken a reservation booking from us.Overall disappointing stay considering the price, definitely style over substance, having stayed at a Melia before had high hopes for the hotel.
