    Great Hotel, Incredibly friendly staff, The guy on the night shift helped us so much when we needed assistance or advise, and booked us a taxi to the Airport at 3am. Cracking location. We upgraded our room and it was large spacious, clean. Highly recommend

    Decent hotel in central Dusseldorf

    Recently stayed here for 4 nights with my partner. We had booked an economy double room which was a decent size. We arrived to the hotel around 11am due to an early morning flight and was able to check in early which didn't cost us any additional charge. Only had to pay a tourist tax. We appreciated having our own duvet in the room and the mini fridge. The bathroom was small and a bit dated but it was fine. Our room was round the back of the hotel and we couldn't really hear any noise from the streets. Our main issue was the air conditioning. It didn't work! It was blowing out air but it was not cooking the room down even with the temperature on the lowest it would go. Thankfully it wasn't too hot overnight but the room was still quite warm. The breakfast was alright but nothing special. Mainly a continental style with a small cooked selection. It did the job and filled us up. One thing to point out is there is no restaurant available for evenings. There are plenty of restaurants nearby so you have plenty of choice. We didn't use any of the other facilities the hotel offers. There is a spa, sauna and gym available. You have the let reception staff know if you want to use the sauna as they need 15 minutes to turn it on and for it to heat up. The hotel is centrally located about 10-15 minutes away from Dusseldorf Central Station and close to the main central streets. The metro system and trams are also located fairly closely to the hotel so easy to get around.

    Fantastic hotel from start to finish. Reception clean well lit. Free water coffee tea* biscuits pastries. Communal garden areas clean and well kept.Room clean & tidy with all you need including fridge with free bottle of beer&soda. Tea* coffee etc in room.Bed was large and comfortable . Plenty of space fir clothes and shower hot and powerful. Hairdryer could have been hotter but that's being picky.Only issue was tea* was only flavoured kind no tea flavour tea and no milk. ( but reception provided milk at the drop of a hat)

    Best location if you come back late at night

    This is opposite side of popular area, but stores in station opens 24/7 so it was very convenient. Breakfast buffet was good, filled my stomach every morning. I highly recommend this hotel especially if you come back late at night for concerts, football games etc since it's very close to station and very safe walk at night.     Okay for less discerning customers, 'superior' room charge will get you a standard room.

    The good: Clean room & bathroom, good supply of towels. Complimentary bottle of water. Good selection of breakfast food items, good coffee. Location within walking distance of train/bus/metro station and city centre. Good wifi.The bad: Airconditioning didn't work at the height of Summer. Had to change rooms twice as a result; to be fair, staff was helpful in that respect but as we paid extra for a "superior" room, this should have been avoided. And what Leonardo's calls a superior room translates into a standard room in many other (German and other Northwest European) hotels that don't command a premium price. Hotel bar was closed half of the time during tourist season. No international tv channels.
