  Excellent location. Hot, cramped and noisy room

  The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff were friendly. The room was small and was adjoined to another room through a closed door. There was no noise insulation between these rooms and I could hear next door's conversations as clear as if they were in the room with me, despite them not being at all loud. The room was incredibly hot with no way to regulate the internal temperature (there was a temperature gauge but it did not work). The room and overall hotel was very clean but I do not think that the price for one night reflects the quality of the place.   Pleasant visit !

  Our family stayed at this hotel for two nights. It is centrally located to restaurants and shops. There are several tram stops close by. The room was immaculate and huge. We got a room with a couch that changed into a comfortable bed. Mattresses were very comfortable. The people here are very nice and we would not hesitate to stay here again.   Disappointing hotel in a great location

  The location of the hotel is terrific, just south of the Altstadt. Near the trams and 15 minutes walk from the central train station. I found the beds themselves very comfortable. But that's about where the good points end.My room was in some very remote location so it was a long long walk through a narrow winding corridor to find the small lift up to the room. This lift was broken during one of the days I stayed so I had to take the stairs up to the third floor with groceries and luggage.The hotel has wi-fi but it barely works. It often cut out and disconnected. So I found it nearly impossible to work. The cellular signal also often dropped out when I was in the hotel so between not having wi-fi and not having cellular reception that really made life difficult.My room had a refrigerator but after putting food in at night when I was tired I woke up in the morning to realize that it does not work, despite lighting up and being plugged in. So the food spoiled. When I went to ask about it at the desk I was told they were old minibars before Covid and most are now just shut off. But there's no indication of this and there was no offer to fix it.There is little to no soundproofing on the windows so you'll hear all the heavy construction in the area early each morning. Same with hearing the people move around above you as all the footsteps sound very heavy, despite the guests upstairs probably just going about their normal business.I wouldn't come back. There's just too many issues with this hotel for the price they charge.   Arrived very early after a n early flight with my son. Hoped to leave our luggage in storage until check in time while exploring the city. We were advised our rooms were ready and could check in. This was very much appreciated and unexpected. It meant we could freshen up before heading out on our adventures. All the staff we spoke to were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were clean and well equipped. The hotel is well located for exploring Dusseldorf and the surrounding area. Close to public transport links. I hope to return to Dusseldorf again in the future and will definitely return to this hotel.   We have now visited this hotel four times at least. As we are regular visitors to Dusseldorf from the UK... We have enjoyed previous visits and usually recommended this hotel. But not this time. The air conditioning was bad throughout.... It was so hot, dispute complaining twice... The reception saying it was regulated internally, this was not rectified and we had to have one fan (we asked for two, but only one was provided) this led to us having no good sleep on any night. I had to turn myself around to the base of the bed to try and sleep, so that both of us could try and get to sleep. So we were sleeping head to toe. We were tired most of the six days because of this. The food did not seem to be of previous standards. All but one day, the cooked breakfast was cold and not hot as it should be. We have previously been offered salmon slices on some days with breakfast, this did not happen this time. We have also always paid at the end of our stay. This time we paid the whole amount when we arrived. We were overall extremely disappointed... I would like a response to some of these questions and a think a refund would be appropriate in this instance... Though I don't think this will be offered... We generally like this hotel and like it's location and previously always brought friends with us, who have booked other rooms.
