Location

This hotel is located at the heart of Düsseldorf just a few minutes drive from the picturesque old town that lies beside the River Rhine and offers a brewery and bars, one of which has the longest bar in the world. Art enthusiasts will love this city in which culture is in the air, with the works of Picasso and Beuys on display in the galleries, Heinrich Heine at the Institut, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, cabaret and other works of art open to visits. The Neue Zollhof in the Medienhafen and the Japanese culture in the EKŌ-Haus der Japanischen Kultur are just two of the many award-winning exhibitions open to guests. Links to the public transport network are to be found close by.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 10-storey building with 2 lifts and 309 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Rooms

    Aircon is not working, refrigerator not working.Staff only say, go to bar and get some cold water. Even not ask what room I was staying in.

    Nice enough. Bar is good, staff are lovely.I was looking forward to a swim but it was closed.The car park is 24 Euros a day for paying guests. I would have thought it would be either free or reduced amount for guests. The room was clean but the bathroom flooded every time you had a shower. The passageway was flooding too with the shower on. The bed was hard. Pillows were too soft, we had 3 each and our heads were touching the mattress. Both woke up with stiff necks and sore shoulders and hips from side sleeping.I would say nice enough hotel but more choice of pillows and softer mattresses should be standard.     Friendly, comfy, but a hell of a lot of light switches...!

    A large, confident hotel just a few tram stops from Düsseldorf’s main station, quietly tucked between residential streets and the city’s fashion and business quarter. It’s clearly aimed at professionals rather than tourists — the name gives that away — but the location is ideal: frequent trams into the centre, supermarkets and a Vapiano nearby, and the Rhine’s riverside paths just a few minutes away for walking, jogging, or simply clearing your head after a day of meetings.Set back from the main road, it’s surprisingly calm. The bar and lounge area didn’t quite win me over — perhaps a touch too impersonal — but the staff were warm and attentive throughout. The breakfast rooms, on the other hand, were lovely: pleasantly cosy rather than grand, and thoughtfully arranged so you don’t feel self-conscious sitting alone at a larger table. A small but welcome touch for those travelling solo.My room was quiet and comfortable, though the lighting controls were an adventure of their own. Six or nine switches by the bed, all doing something slightly mysterious — I gave up and went to sleep with whichever light stayed on. A small puzzle in an otherwise well-run hotel. And one question remains: where are the stairs? Staying on the third floor, I’d have used them, but they seemed to exist only on paper.Vedict: Good parking, good access, and a solid night’s sleep — altogether a reliable base for business travellers.

    The overall experience was disappointing. The breakfast selection was very limited, and the phone in the room was not functioning properly, which caused inconvenience during my stay
