    An excellent Hotel in Oberhausen. Very handy for The Turbinenhalle 2.

    Although Hotel is not near the Railway station it is very handy for the Turbinenhalle 2 if you are here to see a band. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and their english was perfect. Rooms were very clean and a very good size. Also the breakfast was excellent. All in all, I had a very good stay here and would definitely stay again. Thank you

    This is no longer a Mercure hotel!

    Upon arrival we realize that this is not the Mercure hotel we were promised. There were only two cars in the lot and the landscaping was unkempt. I actually thought it looked closed. That’s how bad it looks from the outside. We are on a Rhine bike tour so, our bikes are quite important to us. There is no bike parking. So, bikes came into the room with us. Fun. Room is ok as are the amenities. Nothing really walkable for dining. I wasn’t about to try the restaurant. They can’t maintain the outside of the building, how would the kitchen be?

    The Mercure Hotel AM Centro was apply named due to its close location to CentrO, Germanys largest shopping mall. We were able to walk to CentrO (which is where we spent most of our afternoons in the city) within 20-25 minutes. The hotel is bright and nicely laid out, with the front desk area right beside the hotels bar. Naturally I sampled a local lager there. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size and the tea and coffee facilities helped us start our day with a nice little kick. The staff were all efficient, answering any questions I had in a friendly manner.

    Most is what you can expect from Mercure. Nice, spacious room, very good bed and fine shower. Good wifi and parking near the hotel.Desk to work on. Restaurant is good, but limited choice and only german wine. But quality is good.

    Perfect and large room, good breakfast. Restaurant was less than before, but still OK (Smaller room and menu). I nicely received an upgrade and of course my free drink.The hotel has good but limited parking, free of charge. The Wifi is good, and also free of charge.
