    A rude staff member and very poor cleaning

    We arrived on the 8th of May and it was really hot. The AC didn't work and we asked about it. We got following answer from the guy in the reception: Who the hell needs AC. He even laughed at us. We replied that we needed AC and it is in the description of the hotel. Well if you don't like it you can go to another hotel, he replied. We found it very rude. The cleaning of the room was poor. Towels that we needed to change, we put on the floor, when we came back in the evening, they have just removed them, not given us new ones. Drinking glasses was not cleaned during the whole stay and pillow was lying on the floor. We are very disappointed about the cleaning. The hotel is supposed to have 4 stars, but it is more like 3 star hotel or less. We will not stay there again, because if you say you are 4 stars, you expect 4 star. Cleaning is a key factor and also how the staff treats you. We visit Frankfurt 3 times a year, and are depending on a location close to Bornheim, but now I rather walk longer distance for a better hotel. So Hotel Alexander am Zoo, step up your game and address your issues.

    Very relaxing hotel, with friendly staff, great location. I had a balcony with a lovely outlook. Very green and quiet location. Definitely be going back 👌. Wide breakfast selection too. Very comfortable beds. Thanks

    For the reasonable price tag paid, from the room’s size to the huge bed, the rainforest shower option and the lovely garden view in a middle class neighborhood, i do not have any criticisms. The reception staff were friendly and effective when needed plus the area for the breakfast was roomy and clean with reasonable variation. Stayed only for one day but still i highly recommend it at the price tag and beyond:-)

    good welcome and good breakfast served in table(covid19),very quiet location close to zoo for goog sleepAll people are helpful,the tram/metro station is a short walking distance from hotelDon't hesitate to go !

    One night at the hotel was quite good experience, except the smoke smell in our second room. The neighbourhood was nice and the Zoo nearby was great! Hotel breakfast was not that good. The service was okay.
