    Rude staff at reception

    We were greeted by an extremely rude, almost hostile, woman at the reception. She told us that we had to pay 50 euros more for the room, because we had a dog with us or the dog would have to sleep in the car. Online it says that a dog costs 18 euros. Thankfully we had not booked a room beforehand and we left. Friendliness and respectful treatment of our guests are our highest priority, and we are sorry that you experienced this differently.After consulting with our reception, we would like to clarify the situation: At the time of your inquiry, only one room in our Superior category was available, where dogs are allowed. Our staff member provided you with a personalized quote and openly communicated the total price with and without breakfast and dog – and even offered a discount.Since you then mentioned that you wanted to book through Booking.com, our colleague informed you that there are no more dog-friendly rooms available there and that in this case, a dog must be registered in advance – otherwise, bringing your dog with you would unfortunately not have been possible.Our regular fee for dogs is €18 per night. In your case, the higher total price was due to the room category chosen and the requested inclusive services.Please understand that we are also considerate of other guests, especially those with pet allergies. Therefore, dogs are only allowed in select rooms and must be registered in advance.We would be delighted if you would visit us again at some point – because we are convinced: There are other ways to do things ANDERS (differently).Sincerely,Your ANDERs Team

    retro stylish hotel but clean

    The reception desk was friendly and helpfulthe room is not so big, rather old fashioned but clean, saame for the bathroom.the roomwalls aren't that thick, so you can hear the neighboors but it was quiet during the nightthe breakfast is 100m by food in anther building, but it is the walk trip more than worthfresh and tasty ingrediends, fresh baked bread, good coffee, all you need for a good daily start, thanks to the breakfast it gets a 4 star quotation Reimer Eisenberg, Sonstige at ANDERS Hotel Walsrode, responded to this review Dear Daniel,thank you for your stay and your good rating.     An unexpected stop .. recommended

    Due to a vehicle breakdown we had an unexpected stop-over in the Anders Hotel, Walsrode. We found the room very comfortable and clean with all that we needed. Our evening dinner at the restaurant was delicious, and included a vegan option which was appreciated.Breakfast was included and provided a wide range of options. Everyone would find something to suit their dietary requirements, and no-one need start their day hungry.The staff were very friendly, and obliging with our specific request. Recommended.     Simple and ok for one night!

    We arrived late at the hotel and service at reception was good. When we tried to locate our rooms the doors had no numbers, some doors hade handwritten notes or written direct on the door with felt pen - not a professional experience even if it is during restoration . Rooms, bathrooms and beds were clean but the room was very hot without AC. Before going to sleep we had a wurst at the restaurant, the food was eatable but not more. A warning, do not order the water (luke warm tap water) - they charged us 7.5€ for a L in a jug - terrible!Breakfast on the other hand was very good! The new numbers are already orded, but not yet delivered. Also we would like to clarify that the water was not tap water - sorry, that this was not already cleared at check-out. Even if it comes from a tap, there is a barrel at the end of the line which was delivered by a drinks supplier. But we advised our restaurant service to ask if you wish ice in your water to get it cool.     Verk clean and so nice receptionist! The breakfast was from heaven. The beds as soft as clouds and we slept like babies all night!We in our family is so glad that we chosed this hotel.
