  Overrated expensive rude hotel

  If you are looking for a hotel with friendly staff then please avoid this one. Stayed here during agritechnica for 5 nights. Arrange late checkout for between 2 and 3 pm just to be confronted by rude staff. 2331 euros for 5 nights one would expect something clean at least. The curtains almost grey from dirt. Curtains hanging of the rails. I will not recommend this hotel at all. When you have international tourist paying almost 500 euros a night for a dirty small room the be friendly.   Dirty, stink, disorder

  Really disappointed. Elevator doesent work after 10 pm. It stinks disgustingly. The rooms are not cleaned at all. The bathroom was not cleaned. The water liks. They cant handle the breakfast for all customers. Pillows are not suitable for sleeping. Totally destroyed. The price is way to expensive for what you get.   Nice stay but hot

  Location was good as it is a short walk from Hannover HBF. I guess around 600mCheck in was a breeze. Took maybe 10mins. Room: Size of room was good. Very clean and comfortable. I had a balcony with my room so smoking was no issue. The AC was just like fan with no cold air and adjusting the thermostat did nothing. I guess this is normal for this country. But is was a warm summer and this was not too comfortable. Keeping the doors and windows open helped. There is no mini fridge in the room. For the price cannot complain. Breakfast was better than I expected. I stayed for 2 days and enjoyed my stay.   Great Stay

  This is a slightly older hotel but it really suited me well. It has clearly been refurbished in recent years to modern tastes. Less than a 10 minutes walk from the platforms of Hannover Railway Station to the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, all staff I spoke to spoke good English. Handy as my German is of a very low standard! Room was clean and comfortable, well heated and plenty of hot water in the shower.Breakfast was good also. Breakfast buffet had a range of things to help yourself to. If I were to return to Hannover I would definitely consider staying here again. The one thing I did notice which might affect you if arriving late is that reception is closed overnight. You need to check in by 10pm. You are given a key so you can get out and in out overnight though.   If you like small hotels this place is for you

  I've been to Europe enough times to expect smaller hotels than in North America. But this hotel took the cake. There are 5 parking spots out front, so good luck getting one. It is also €15 a day to park which is on par with other hotels. The front door is not great for anyone with accessibility challenges as you have to go down two small flights of stairs, and there is no ramp. The front desk staff gave us our keys and explained that one was for the front door to use after 10pm as the front desk is not staffed after that time. So late check-in isn't an option. The elevator also stops working at 10pm. The room itself was average, but the washroom was so tiny, it was slightly larger than that on an airplane, if an airplane included a shower. While breakfast is included there are only about 10 tables, so time when you plan to eat accordingly. We went downstairs on a Sunday morning at 9:15 and there were no tables. We came back about 10 min later and got one. The heat in our room wasn't really working properly so upon mentioning this to the front desk they waived the parking fee. One of the good things about this hotel is location. It's about a 10 min walk to the central train station and old town where there are Christmas markets. There's also a great Indian restaurant across the street and other dining options close by. This hotel served our purpose for one night, but not ideal for an extended stay.
