  Terrible experience at the Intercity hotel.

  My wife and I had a terrible stay at the hotel Intercity in Hannover. After travelling since 8 in the morning, we arrived with our group at the hotel at 6 pm. We were told to go to the first floor to receive our keys so that we could take our luggage to our rooms in good time before the dinner at 7. To our astonishment, a very aggressive man among the staff told us that we wouldn't get our keys until we had had our dinner. He was afraid some of us would be late for dinner as if we were small children. We were very upset about that. Noone gave us the chance to order beer or wine with our food!After dinner some of us went down to the bar since it was "happy hour" until 8. We were there at 7.40 but no staff came to the bar until after 8 when the "happy hour" was over!So, of course I can't recommend this hotel to anyone.

  Great experience at IntercityHotel Hannover. Top-notch staff, professional service, and a very clean room. Being so close to the station and city center saved me a lot of time. Highly recommended!

  Non-Guest Entered My Locked Room — No Follow-Up by the Management

  During my stay, I returned to my locked hotel room to find a very drunk guy sleeping in my bed, among my personal stuff. He was intoxicated and did not have a reservation at the hotel. The front desk removed him and then asked me how I wanted to proceed, I requested this to be reported o the police, which they did. Somehow, I would expect this to be part of the reaction without me being asked what to do.All in all, what concerned me most was not just the incident itself, but the apparent lack of curiosity or follow-up from the hotel about how a non-guest being able to access a locked, occupied room. There was no explanation offered, no visible attempt to investigate, and no communication from management afterwards.While the immediate situation was handled, this raised serious concerns for me about security procedures and guest safety. I would strongly encourage the hotel to review its key issuance and access controls to prevent this from happening again. This was highly disturbing and left me dealing with anxiety in my next trips…

The staff was incredibly professional, polite, and genuinely caring – a rare combination that set the tone for my entire stay.The location of the hotel is perfect. It’s close to everything – yet tucked away enough to offer peace and quiet. Whether you want to explore the city, dine out, shop, or just enjoy the local charm, everything is within walking distance or just a short ride away.Check-in was smooth and efficient.   Not a good experience

  Via Booking I booked 2 rooms, each for one person. I was with my dad. When we came to the hotel the receptionist told us that only one room came through even though both our names were in the system (I think that was a lie and that they overbooked the hotel. Since me and my dad have the same last name he probably put two and two together and tried it with us). They didn’t have any other rooms available so me and my dad ended up having to stay in the same room. We got the room with free breakfast, which he couldn’t put in the system so the next day it was kind of a hassle to get the breakfast for free. In the room there was only one pillow on the bed and towels for one person. The airconditioning was not working. The room was hot. The matress was not comfortable. We were happy we were only staying for one night.
