    Love this place! Total 80th vibes, but somehow charming with it. Lovely big room, comfy bed, several different pillows and windows you can actually open. Aircon easy to operate. Super clean bathroom with plenty of hot water. But the people working here are the real stars: everyone so friendly, knowing their stuff and nothing can really faze them! Sadly I only had dinner, but it was delicious! ( surf&turf linguini ) And all that in walking distance from airport. Thank you, hope to be back soon!     Stuffy air and sweaty sleep

    On my last visit I didn’t really rest and slept well. The air was too stuffy and the bed made me sweat. The air conditioning was only running in heating mode. An open window was out of discussion as there is an all night around flight operation going on at the airport. At the end my sleeping time was very reduced and it was hard to work next day.     Locked out by staff at midnight demanding payment before check-out, staff took 30 mins unlocking after payment

    Staff locked us out at midnight and demanded us to pay for bill under the room (which was proactively offered and we tipped). The receptionist was poor at unlocking it, we went up and down 5 times before entering the room with admin card. Slept at 1:40 a.m. and checked out at 6:50 a.m. exhausted. Terrible experience and receptionist told us this is Europe and our rules!!!We came here to participate the Hannover Messe and stayed with the hotel for 6 days. Spent at room service and bar for well over 300 euros and paid. 2 meals were proactively offered by restaurant staffed under the room and we tippedThe day before departure, when we came back to the hotel after midnight exhausted (need to pack and ship all materials used at Messes back home), but found that our door cards do not workI went downstairs to the reception, the receptionist told me that they locked us out because there the meal payment under the room (~110 euros), and asked us to pay now. In fact, the restaurant of the hotel offered us to put it under the room and pay at check-out (which is normal). I told him that it is midnight and my card is in the room. we are going to check out within 6 hours, we can pay at then so to avoid going up and down. The staff refused and I had to go up and ask my roommate to come down to pay for it. But he came back found the new card still does not work. Then we went down again with both cards renewed and came back finding they still don’t work!!! I went down again and the staff opened our room with admin cardIt took us 30-40 mins to solve the whole things, slept at 1:40 a.m. and checked out at 6:50 a.m. exhausted. The receptionist was not sorry for it and told us this is Europe - and we have our rules… which in fact is just bad service and bad managementWhich they could have done is to 1. refuse tour groups (we came with 1 Messe tour group) to put meals under rooms rather than proactively offering them (we even gave tips for this…)2. When it happens, just be a little caring about guest not iron-fisted rule of risk management3. Get own tech right! The intention was to support your checkout process and give you the chance to settle your payment the day before your departure. We expected 800 guests to check out in the morning. Blocking your room was wrong. As we realized that it was the wrong way we went, we couldn't make it better because the room key you had was deactivated. Later, in addition to that, we were facing an issue with replacing your room key at night. This caused the problem that you couldn't open the door to your room. The key we have replaced didn't work. For this reason, my colleague opened the door by using his master key. Please accept my sincerest apologies for this very bad experience. Please be assured that we have adjusted our policies and procedures to avoid any repetition. I do hope you will give us a chance next year to prove we can do better.     A hotel just for urgent case

    Old rooms. the lights near bes are nosidy most likley from 30 years ago. When I arrived, I was informed my reservation was cancelled and I needed to pay more. I felt it was a dirty gameto ask for higher price. Stay in this hotel when you are really have to. I don't have a chance to follow up your accusation because you didn't provide your real name. So I will reply in general. We are not cancelling any booking. All bookings are confirmed and a booking number is issued. So you and the front desk staff can verify every booking in our system, even if the booking is cancelled . As well is the room rate mentioned. For this reason I can not really understand where our fault is.
