    It's not pet-freindly not to allow a small dog in the restaurant - and let us have breakfast in the reception area on terrible chairs.     We stayed one night. The hotel is located in Merseburg, an ancient city situated on the Saale River and within a short drive from Halle and Leipzig. Partly covered parking may be available behind the hotel at EUR 13/night, however spaces are limited and we were lucky to get one of the last remaining spaces. We chose the hotel based on a previous stay in 2021. Unfortunately no Business Class Room was available this time, so we opted for a Junior Suite, which turned out to be situated in a separate wing.Our room was spacious with a separate sitting area, comfy beds and a large bathroom. The separate wing was connected to the main building by a stairway, making it necessary to carry our rather heavy baggage up and down to get it to and from our room, not very pleasant.We visited on a sunny and warm day in August and although our room was large and nice it had no air con (available in Business Class Rooms). Even though a fan was available and windows could be opened our room was uncomfortably warm.Breakfast was included in our rate and was good with a number of hot and cold items. We visited on a busy morning and our experience as a whole was not as quiet and relaxing as we had expected, partly due to a less successful organization of the different items.     On our way home from Italy, we stayed overnight at this hotel.I have never stayed at a hotel, with such poor sleeping comfort and old style rooms, stained carpet, no proper ventilation, only positive thing were the bathroom, paid eur 115,- reasonable good shape. Car-park were in poor condition, considering we paid eur 13,- for one night. The personal were positive, especially the waiter, very nice service.     We stayed two nights on a road trip to Germany. The hotel is located near the Castle Gardens in the town of Merseburg. The Castle Gardens are close to the River Saale and the centre of the old town with the cathedral is within walking distance.Covid 19 regulations were handled very well and as you would expect from a Radisson Hotel. Our room was a spacious Business Class Room on the top floor with a number of nice facilities, such as a safe, coffee and tea facilities, and A/C. We even had a private roof terrace with a nice view of the town, and Leipzig and Halle in the horizon. Everything was very clean and in perfect order.Breakfast in the Restaurant Belle Epoque was included in our rate and was very nice with several choices of both hot and cold items of high quality.The hotel is connected to a private (paid) parking lot with direct access to the hotel.Excellent service throughout the entire facility, and we would definitely recommend this hotel.     Adjacent to a fine castle and its park. The hotel itself lived its time - not very clean. No air conditioning. Cleaning could be more efficient. Toilet weak lights. Four stars ??? It was disappointing that the restaurant is not open on Sundays. Parking garage spacious. Parking is also possible on the street overnight. Staff was friendly and helpful.
