Location

This comfortable hotel is located in Leipzig's city centre within metres of the main railway station with its famous shopping centre, and numerous sights, restaurants and cosy bars are located in the vicinity.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 436 rooms, including 17 junior suites, 275 single rooms and 15 double rooms, located in a 27-storey main building and a 129-storey auxiliary building. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. 4 lifts and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available. The hotel has non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The pleasantly heated water of the indoor and outdoor pools guarantees comfortable swimming. A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the hotel offers cycling/mountain biking. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, bowling and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Children are well looked after in the kids' club.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. At breakfast, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    The Good: Conveniently located to the train station, public transportation and Old Town Leipzig. Coffee all day.The Less Than Good: AC does not work appropriately, rooms are very hot.     Stylish stay with a beautiful view

    I had a very pleasant stay at The Westin Leipzig. The hotel felt stylish, modern, smart, and cool overall. The view from the room was beautiful, especially at night. The bar had a nice atmosphere and was a great place to relax. There was also a pool, although I didn’t get the chance to use it. I especially liked the lobby decor — elegant, timeless, and very well designed.     As a marriott member,being charged 10€ extra to access the pool felt wrong.The receptionist was cold in welcoming and didn't provide enough infos regarding parking and how to come back in the building. Matress topper wasn't provided and no call to appologise for that.Ordering club sandwich room service wasn't impressive or delicious.There was no minibar in our room or snacks! Glasses of refreshment/welcoming drinks in the lobby were mixed unable to tell clean ones and used ones.     Great choice in LEIPZIG, close to everything

    Big hotel very close to the Christmas markets and close everything you need to see in this small city. Close to the train station which makes in and out very easy if you’re going for a short stay, which is likely the case. The main churches are very close to the hotel as well so everything is walkable. Hotel itself it’s big with a huge lobby very nice checking and checkout. The rooms are big and modern very clean gray bed. Checkout was smooth.     I was here for a very short stay.It's a big, upscale, bright business hotel. You can enjoy views of the city.Rooms are spacious and rather nice.It attracts upscale tourists as well.
