Location

This business and conference hotel is situated right next to Stuttgart Airport and the Stuttgart trade exhibition grounds. It is just 20 minutes from the centre of Stuttgart, where guests will find a number of tourist attractions, as well as restaurants, bars, pubs and shops. The hotel offers excellent transport connections to the A8 motorway for Munich/Karlsruhe and to the A81 for Würzburg/Singen. The nearest link to the public transport network is the tram station in the airport.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 6-storey building with a lift and 326 non-smoking rooms. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     A perfectly decent breakfast, overshadowed by management

    Breakfast at Mövenpick Stuttgart Airport was, on the whole, perfectly adequate. The buffet was plentiful enough, the €33 price point felt reasonable, and the made-to-order omelettes were a welcome touch. Service from the staff was warm, quick, and courteous throughout.The buffet itself, however, did not quite rise above the level of the familiar. No salmon, and the sweet pastries had that rather dispiriting air of the standard frozen convenience selection now seen in so many hotels — abundant enough, perhaps, but hardly memorable. This was on a Friday morning, so weekends may well offer a more elaborate spread.What genuinely spoiled the atmosphere, however, was not the buffet, but the management. At around 09:30 or 09:40 — with service still due to continue until 10:30 — a senior member of the restaurant team openly and quite aggressively reprimanded staff in front of guests for having refilled the buffet too generously. It was an astonishingly graceless moment: there I was, standing beside an empty croissant basket and a single lonely slice of cheese, while being treated to a public scolding over excess abundance.It was uncomfortable, unnecessary, and thoroughly out of keeping with the standard one expects in a hotel of this category. A breakfast buffet can be average and still perfectly pleasantWhat is far harder to excuse is management choosing to humiliate staff within earshot of guests.One can forgive an unremarkable pastry selection. One can even forgive the absence of salmon. What is harder to overlook is a member of management publicly berating staff in an aggressive tone, in front of guests, over the apparent crime of keeping the buffet properly stocked. That left a far stronger impression than the breakfast itself — and not in a good way.     Nice hotel at the airport

    The location is really at the airport. You come out of the airport and see the hotel.Check in was a bit cumbersome resulting in a huge line but staff were friendly. Rooms are quite nice and there were no sound from the airport. Breakfast was good but again lots of people so hard to find a table. Check out was again a bit cumbersome resulting in we could not get a printed receipt but had to give email address to get it sent afterwards.     Fair but bad breakfast experience

    This is a great location hotel as our aim was to visit the classic car exhibition that is within a walking distance from the hotel. The room was spacious, what we liked was that the mattress had electric adjustment of its hardness. What was not convenient was that the toilet had only a glass door and wasn’t isolating noises or odours. Since the hotel is in airport, at around 5-5.30 am it was too noisy due to announcements from the speakers that were too loud. What we surely didn’t like - and it is a shame for such a hotel - was the breakfast. This is solely a management’s fault and it is unacceptable. Breakfast on weekends is till 11.00am, this is written in hotel’s brochure. So we arrived for breakfast at 10.30am. The personnel was preparing to collect everything, actually in a few minutes they were collecting everything, some things were finished and not refilled, the coffee machine every 2 minutes was in repair mode , actually we felt very bad, personnel was carrying everything away even though breakfast time hadn’t finished, this was not a breakfast to be happy. I said that management was responsible for all this because while breakfast was scheduled to end at 11.00am, the lunch was starting at 11.30am so the poor people were running to get ready everything. This was indeed an extremely stressful situation that completely ruined our pleasure. I hope that the people of the hotel listen and soon will solve this dreadful situation with breakfast. It’s a pity for this hotel such an organisational mess to destroy the whole image. In this hotel it is worth dining, the restaurant is wonderful. We had dinner during our stay. Reception girls were very polite. There is a huge underground parking that is very convenient.     I have written to the hotel twice about my forgotten toilet bag but have not gotten any answer at all. I also discovered I was charged for the room at checkout despite having prepaid the room.
