  I chose the hotel due to proximity to the airport. I had my flight early morning. Reception was very busy. Receptionist was friendly. I was allotted a very big room with two beds; street views were there; basic amenities like hair dryer, electric iron with table were there. Tea and coffee were available but even drinking water. Clean and tidy quiet room. Price was just okay. Airport is 5 minutes away. Dining area is very huge. Breakfast arrangements were good.   lovely hotel

  The Good and the VERY bad

  We stayed at Wyndham Stuttgart Messe for one night. Let me begin with the positive:1. Location: Could not be better. Basically, you are looking at a safe, 5 Minute walk tops to the Airport, and downhill :-)2. Front Staff: Super friendly and extremely helpful. 3. The Room: Very comfy bed, great shower and products. The prices in the mini bar are very reasonable.The VERY bad:The Restaurant. We waited 10 Minutes for the menu, after being seated. The Restaurant was not busy. Upon ordering drinks, we waited for our, while two tables next to us received theirs right away, even though they ordered after us. We ordered 2 coffees and a beer but only one coffee and the beer was initially brought.The Food, a hamburger, arrived cold after sitting in the order window. After the re-fire, the same thing happened and the burger was luke warm. My partner took one bite and stated it tasted odd. We returned the Burger and mentioned the issues to the Manager. Yet, we still were charged.AVOID the "Restaurant" at ALL COSTS.   Caution: Huge Cancellation fees and poor customer service

  For professional reasons, I had to stay 3 nights at the Wyndham Stuttgart Airport hotel.Unfortunately, my flight was canceled 2 weeks before the arrival date and there was no alternative flight.Even though the hotel price was very high, and the reservation was made by my company's travel agency, this travel agency did not mention the cancellation fees which represented 90% of the stay:- 1132.65 euros of fees for 3 nights!!!I travel a lot, and this is the first time I've experienced such high fees while paying a high night rate.I contacted the hotel 10 days before the arrival date to find a compromise: this hotel was full the last 2 nights, so canceling my reservation would have given the hotel time to rebook the room in exchange of a reduction in fees.Their answer was “"We can´t cancel the room free of charge. At the moment we have a lot of rooms for this date" which was completely irrelevant because I did not request a cancellation free of charge and the hotel was fully booked for the 2 last days.After replying quickly to the hotel, I received an auto-reply stating that the person was out of the office for 10 days and nobody else answered my request.With a cancellation notice 2 weeks before the arrival date, we surely could have found a way to satisfy both sides, but this hotel decided otherwise.10 days ago, the hotel charged my credit card without generating an invoice or even a receipt. Despite the travel agency request: after 5 days, I still did not get this invoice to be able to be re-imbursed: behavior not really compliant with European law.So hotel with huge price, huge cancellation fees and poor customer service: I still need to fight with to get this invoice.   Stayed 1 night at Wyndham and it was super close to airport. In hindsight I should have walked to hotel and get rental car the next morning because they charge parking. 17 or 18 euro, don’t remember but nonetheless it was a normal stay.
