Location

Ideal for beach holidaymakers and families, this resort is located in Kontokali and is right by the sea. Guests can reach the centre after about 1 km. Public transport stops are just outside the door.

Facility

261 rooms are available to guests at this resort, which includes 3 lifts and a reception desk. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the resort provides various services and facilities, including a currency exchange service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee) and a laundry service. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Services include a hotel shuttle bus.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. For the littlest travellers, children's beds can be provided at no extra charge. There is a wellness area with a sauna and a hammam and, for an additional fee, a spa, massage treatments, anti-ageing treatments, aromatherapy and a reflexology massage. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Dining facilities include a bar and a lobby bar. Warm hospitality and a cosy atmosphere await guests in 4 non-smoking restaurants. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Great hotel, excellent service , very nice room, the food was very good, we loved the view from the room, beach and pool

    The hotel staff were friendly and supportive. We used the free shuttle to the Corfu city center - half a day was enough for spending time there. We took one day of a rental car to the north part of the island, it was very convenient to receive the rented car in the morning at the hotel and returning it in the evening at the hotel. The hotel location is quiet , with nice sea shore, we enjoyed using the closed pool , the nice sea shore and the relaxing pool side. We always found very good tasty options to eat in breakfast , lunch and dinner. The room was large and very nice, with nice sea view.     Pleasant stay!

    The hotel is really good our room was a bay view which was nice, but we paid a bit extra to have a sea view (onthebeach error not the hotels which never got resolved) Location wise you have Corfu old town which was lovely we went there in the day courtesy of the hotel shuttle bus that is put on, we also went in the evening this time by taxi but there are bus stops outside the hotel grounds.The other way is Gouvia town were you first come across the harbour which was nice with a few cafes/bar restaurants & another 10min walk on is the main town were there are a few bars & restaurants where we ate at a couple of nights it was very quiet but it is near the end of the season.Me & my wife were B&B & there was plenty of choice & enjoyed it, we also for a charge ate in the Horizon buffet restaurant twice for are evening meal as the weather wasn’t the best to venture out again the choice was really good & we enjoyed it, our server/waitress one evening & for breakfast a couple of times was a young lady called Christina I think it may have been spelt Xstina forgive me if I’m wrong she was fantastic very polite & hardworking the hotel are lucky to have her, all the the staff in all areas were really friendly & helpful they the hotels best asset.I would say there are some areas of the grounds & buildings that need a touch of work i.e grass cut, hut for towels in pool area tidied up, decking maintenance outside Marina restaurant , but I’d imagine as it’s now coming to the end of season these will be done in the the off season (this is just me being very picky)Thank You to all the staff for making our stay a very pleasant one.     Our 50 th Golden wedding anniversary.

    This was our second visit to this Amazing place,we came to Celebrate our 50 th Golden wedding anniversary,we had a few lovley surprises like cold plates in our lovley double seaview room,and prosecco and red wine fruit and Lovley cakes and a Bottle off red wine.it was lovley and clean and a large room the toiletries were a luxury.And the Horizon Restaurant did lovley fresh food for Breakfast and dinner , different themes,.All the staff are lovley ,and they are very attentive to you're needs.we had a lovley surprise,flowers in our room,and more Anniversary cakes and more prosecco.     A bit of luxury at the end of a wonderful cruise

    This hotel is amazing. We were staying on a bed and breakfast basis Breakfasts were superb. In the main restaurant the choice of food was unbelievable. At the other breakfast venue, by the sea, there was less choice but there was still plenty and of good quality, plus the location was gorgeous. The private beaches are sandy with comfortable loungers and the opportunity to order drinks from your sunbed. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view of the garden and nearby marina. The staff were very helpful. The evening entertainment was really good - better quality than many of the hotels we have visited. The hotel's location means it is a short walk to a bus stop to catch a bus into Corfu town or along to Gouvia. 2 Euros, 50 for the fare. The buses run every 20 mins. The hotel also has a complimentary shuttle bus into Corfu town each morning at 9.30. It's possible to walk into Kontokali for dinner.
