    We last stayed here 3 years ago, I loved it then & it hasn’t changed it’s still as lovely. We were welcomed by the lovely owner Froso & we were so pleased to see her again. We stayed in the double room. The rooms are very clean. The house which was Frosos mums house is so beautiful. The views over the mountains are fabulous. You must stop for Frosos amazing breakfast, it just keeps coming & is delicious. We shall go back again.

    A high quality, clean and comfortable place to stay near the centre of this interesting hillside town. Zaros is famous for its waters and offers excellent hillside hiking. It is also handy to the ruins at Gortys, which should not be missed. The manager is friendly and helpful and the breakfasts will keep you going until dinner (even after trekking through ruins and hills!). Recommended.

    We were staying for one night as it was close to Agia Marina Donkey Rescue Sanctuary for my elderly Mother. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the staff even though our rooms weren't quite ready. When we were shown our rooms we were delighted by what we had. My Mother had the double room which had the net curtain over the bed and the exposed stone walls, it made her trip. The breakfast was a delight - a proper Cretan breakfast which filled the table and we were allowed to take away what we didn't eat for a snack later in the day.Well worth a stay.

    Hi, the breakfast here was amazing. Lots of pastries and pies, and they kept on coming for 6 euros. We thought it was finished and needed to drive on and there was still more to come - goodness knows what! The room was good - a double and single bed. But I asked for a spare sheet as I sleep really hot at the moment, and never got it. Zaros is a wonderful town. We had a great walk up part of the gorge behind the lake. Stunning. An excellent organic food family taverna, Vegera, where we had the same as everyone else, eating what we were given. Lovely and very reasonable price.

    Gorgeous room with high standard bathroom set in tranquil village of Zaros. Couldn't have expected more and owner was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with home made pastries and jam. Wonderful experience and an insight to traditional Greek life. Wished we had stayed longer
