Location

The hotel is located some 600 metres from Gouves sandy beach. Gouves is a smaller and quieter resort, with a pretty old town and a sandy beach. This establishment lies at a distance of about 3 km from the centre of Gouves village, and is built in a traditional rustic style.

Facility

This hotel has a lift and a reception desk. Amenities include a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     Worst hotel I’ve even stayed at

    I am absolutely disgusted. The standard of cleanliness is none existent. The food is disgusting. The room I was in was falling apart, cracked tiles all throughout the bathroom. Told me not to sit on the bed for the first hour I was in the room because I was waiting for someone to come fix it. No TV, No aircon (unless you paid 8€). All inclusive is absolutely shocking drinks selection. And even worse started our holiday off without a room. They said we could sleep on the sofa in reception until it was sorted (this took them until 14:30. I arrived at 04:30am) waiting 10+ hours for a room, so no access to tend to personal hygiene, no saftey for my belongs. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Do not go! Minimal food and not labelled! Wild cats will jump on the table. Staff are awful apart from receptionist. Nothing is clean and no effort made. Rooms are basic and extra large for air con 8 euros per day. All inclusive is a con.. bar isn't open until 11 so will have to pay for water! Also no spirits until 730pm another extra charge. Was not worth it at all! Hated the hotel. Not even a local beer and only one choice as with wine! Got told off for talking on the phone at 11pm in my room being loud. Terrible place. I watched the kitchen staff come and get shots for to young women on their own who asked me to step in. There was I light right above your head in bed I cant help but knock. No netting for mosquitos or anything thing else so room will be covered. Just do not go!

    after seeing a lot of negative reviews about this hotel after we had booked it we flew in with trepidation.we arrived late at night but they opened the bar so we could have a drink.the rooms were a little small and dated but perfectly functional.the food was plentiful and some of it was traditional greek which we enjoyed.the hotel bar was well stocked and plenty good enough for our needs.to sum up /if your looking for a five star for three star money forget it/if your looking for a cheap break in a nice family run hotel then yes this is good .

    Exceptional! I don't understand the negative reviews. The hotel and rooms where clean and cleaned every morning. Clean towels left everyday. The food was more than enough and really tasty. The hotel stuff extremely lovely and always happy to help with anything.

    HI Just back from staying at Despo Hotel and will write an honest review The Hotel is older style but quite quaint in it's way the pool area was clean and the Gardens are lovely , the restaurant is styled on a Taverna . All of the staff were very friendly and helpful ,the room was clean and comfortable we had a view over the country side . The meals in the restaurant were ok not cordon bleu but edible after all this is Greece not Blackpool so no Fish and Chips or Sunday Roasts , The drinks were good but no Spirits until the Evening The air conditioning charge was a bit steep as was the Government tax, the road outside was a bit challenging but 5min to the Right and 10min to the Left there was crossroads so no need to scale the barriers Overall we had a nice Holiday we didn't spend time taking pictures of drain holes or moaning and all the Guest's we spoke to said for a 3 star hotel and what was paid it was good value for money ,do not expect 5 star for 3 star prices There was no entertainment but 15 min walk there was Milos Taverna and Central bar both worth a visit
