Location

The hotel is situated in Nea Moudania, Kassandra, within the region of Macedonia, directly on the beach. Its winding coastline is marked by 4 sizeable gulfs - the Thermaic Gulf to the west, the Gulf of Orfanou to the east and the Gulf of Toroni and the Mt Athos Gulf in the south. The 3 ‘prongs’ cover a landmass measuring 2945 km² and are home to a population of around 79,000. The city centre is around 1.5 km from the beach hotel, where guests will also find the bus and train stations.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 290 non-smoking rooms and 147 junior suites. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a cash machine. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (no extra charge). Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service (on request and for a fee), a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, 24-hour room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a page service, a hotel doctor and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. Daily newspapers are available for purchase.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A welcome gift awaits guests. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Guests can also book separate bedrooms. Extra beds or children's beds can be provided upon request. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a TV, a DVD player, a games console and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a baby bath. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. 20 family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

The spacious pool area, which includes 4 outdoorpools (no extra charge), is a great place for guests to relax and take a refreshing dip. Even on cool days, swimming is always at option at the indoor pool (no extra charge). Kids can splash around in one of the 2 children's pools. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. There is a poolside snack bar as well. The resort offers outdoor sports, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, beach volleyball and paddle tennis. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as windsurfing, paddle boating, canoeing, water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy water skiing, jet skiing, motorboat rides, sailing, catamaraning, snorkelling and diving. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, darts, yoga, callisthenics and pilates. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and a hammam and, for an additional fee, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music and a dance club.

Meals

The dining area includes a café. Guests can indulge their palates at the restaurant (non-smoking, à la carte and high chairs). Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive can be booked. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    A fantastic experience! The instructor was friendly, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our stay at Ikos Oceania for our daughter. She really enjoyed it, and it helped build her confidence in the water. Highly recommended! 🧜‍♀️✨

    What can I say about the Oceania…? Exceptional in every way.From the email communication I had with Elsa and Katerina weeks before we arrived, to every staff member doing their utmost to keep us happy, nothing was too much trouble.We have never been looked after so well on a holiday. As regular visitors to Greece, we know how friendly, welcoming and hospitable the local people are. We have stayed at other hotel chains such as Grecotel and Mitsis, and always enjoyed our time there, however Ikos really pushes the boat out on all levels. We’re spoilt forever now!The food, drink and service is incredible. It’s amazing how they pull off the high standard when catering for so many people. But somehow they do it, and all with a smile.Particular highlights were our a la carte breakfasts at Ouzo, and the BBQ lunch. The haloumi with raisins is to die for!!And Fresco for my mother’s birthday with all the extra attention to detail.Thank you to Elsa and Katerina for organising everything for my mother’s birthday, Angela and Anna at the beach club, Anna Maria and the guys at the beach, Maria at Fresco, Tania and Sia at Ouzo, Kostas and Liza at Anaya, Lordi and George at the lobby bar…the list goes on…We can’t wait to come back. Hopefully with some other family members in tow to show them we’re not exaggerating about the quality of this place.Thank you to everyone!

    Lets start with 3 of our excursions booked thru them were cancelled while on ship. I find it hard to believe they were all due to operators of the excursions. The other big complaint is the excursions themself. VERY limited on choices so when they cancelled 3 of them and some days you only had 3 choices it make it hard. 1 day we had nothing to do except walk around the shopping area but we did walk up to a old town for more shopping and lunch. Great size ship but thats about all I can say. Nothing fancy and the smallest shower I have ever seen on a ship. I do NOT think I will ever book with them again. Like I said the only real positive was the small crowds on ship. Otherwise not any nicer than the other lines like Royal, NCL and Holland but higher price tag

    Visit no 2 but not the last!

    I lay on my sunbed on our second to last day as I write this review. This is our second visit to this beautiful hotel and won’t be our last! Again absolutely amazing stay with outstanding service.We had beautiful room 4308 with the most stunning views. My only small complaint is that the shower water pressure wasn’t the best.There were 2 people who made our holiday incredible, Akis at the main pool bar and beach buddy Ibrahim also around the main pool who was generally doing the towels. These two gentleman are an absolute credit to the Ikos brand, they went over and above and were incredible to our family and felt like proper friends. We hope our paths cross again in future visits and thank you for making our holiday so memorable. Also a big thank you to Sofia on the beach and the amazing Tania in Ouzo, we love you both and wish Tania a wonderful maternity leave.Also thank you to Eleni on guest relations who checked on us everyday to ensure we were happy.An amazing holiday, beautiful food and wonderful staff, we cannot wait to return after the refurbishment.

    What an incredible week!We’re heading home after the most fabulous week! We came here 7 years ago for our honeymoon and it’s been wonderful to come back with our two boys and the rest of my family.The service we’ve received has been outstanding. I was able to email the hotel directly and book our evening meals as we were a party of 9…all my requests and the reservation times were accommodated.The hotel, the pools, the beach, the bars and the restaurants were all as fabulous as we remember. We dined at every restaurant and ate out at Erodios.I used the gym every morning…24/7 access makes this so accessible to early risers!We made use of the pedalos and kayaks on the beach each day and the service from the beach bar staff was exceptional…they were unbelievably attentive and so efficient!All the restaurants are unique and we couldn’t choose a favourite! They do get busy at lunch times…especially the Beach Club and Ouzo…we had to wait at peak times but it was worth it!We’ve enjoyed a week of pure luxury and relaxation…a chance to be completely spoilt and switch off from the world! It’s going to be hard going back to reality tomorrow!Thank you Ikos! And to anyone visiting this season you’re in for a treat! 🏝️☀️🍹
