Location

Located on Sithonia, Halkidiki's second peninsula, this hotel is built on the marina waterfront of one of the most sheltered harbours in Greece and is ideal for visiting yachtsmen and crews. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, with 1600 metres of long sandy beaches close by, along with 34 hotel-owned natural private beaches and coves, this is the ideal place for relaxation. The hotel is 1.5 km from the town centre.

Facility

479 non-smoking rooms are available to guests. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the resort provides various services and facilities, including a babysitting service (for a fee), medical assistance, room service (for a fee), a hairdresser, 9 conference rooms and a banquet hall. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a queen-size bed. A minibar is also available for a fee. Guests will also find a refrigerator included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, satellite television and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer is provided in the bathrooms. Wheelchair-accessible rooms can also be booked. 29 family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Plenty of active recreation awaits guests in the pool area's 2 outdoorpools. No matter the weather, swimming is always a possible in the indoor pool (for a fee). There is also a special swimming area just for kids. The pool area also includes a hot tub (for a fee), a waterslide and a pool bar. Parasols and comfortable sun loungers are available on the sun terrace. A variety of sports are offered at the resort, including beach volleyball and basketball or, for a fee, golf and horse riding. Indoor facilities and activities also include a gym and squash or, for a fee, bowling. Various wellness options, such as a spa, a sauna, thalassotherapy treatments and a hydrojet massage, are offered for a fee. Leisure facilities include a kids' club, a casino and a nightclub.

Meals

The dining area includes 5 restaurants and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and all-inclusive. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    We went out of season- brilliant idea! The hotel was spotless, staff were fabulous and it was everything we could have hoped for. The facilities were great and as it was out of season there were no issues which other reviews mentioned. A special mention to Sofia and Georgia who couldn’t do enough to help us with anything we needed.     Perfect Hotel, Would recommend.

    This hotel is perfect for a chill break away, with facilities for families, solo travellers and couples. The staff is The Athos are so attentive and always give 5 star service, especially Georgia who works on the reception of the restaurant, she always has a smile on her face and is very sweet learning guests names and makes the stay feels more special with a personal touch, the All-Inclusive can be confusing with only some drinks options available on this board and some at an extra cost. The pool is fantastic and has a beautiful oasis feel to it, the reception staff are always happy to help and will bend over backwards to accommodate any questions.     Not good returned visit after 35 years!!

    The hotel grounds and amenities are absolutely fantastic, but the standard of the food is not good and everything is served cold even when you turn up at the buffet restaurant and it’s just opened. Some staff are quite rude and literally look in your direction and completely ignore you so you are sitting there waiting to see who is going to ask us what drinks we wanted, No way this hotel is a 5 star I would say 4 star for grounds/amenities and cleanliness but 2 star for mediocre food. Definitely disappointing on my return to this hotel and definitely won’t be returning again. The thing is they could easily get it to a 5star if they sort out the food and some members of staff in the buffet restaurant as the hotel grounds are beautiful and where it is situated is absolutely gorgeous beach one side and marina and golf course on the other.
