  Great Stay!

  What can I say but Skala is brilliant. On Arrival we were welcomed and shown our room. Very clean looks to have been refurbished recently. Nice pool areas and quiet away from the busy resort. Look at the map on google maps as this is located up the hill and coming out of the driveway turn right and then 10 mins to the main front. We hired a Quad bike which was fun. if you taxi from the font it is only 5 euro up after your meal.

  Holiday nightmare

  After struggling to find the villa, we were told by the owner that she had no record of the booking. She refused to accept our holiday voucher and denied all knowledge of the holiday company or us! It was only after I spotted our names (highlighted in green) on her booking sheet, that her attitude changed slightly and so did her story. We were then told that the booking was only for 2 people (we are a family with two small children) and that the company had double booked. She denied it being her fault and it was only upon bursting into tears that she offered to find alternative accomodation for us for the night. We were then escorted to a nearby hotel and some sort of deal was struck between her and the owner. My family were given a "change over room" next to the laundry room in the basement with a view of a concrete wall, a table and two chair and only three beds (we are a family of four). Whilst we were grateful for a bed for the night, the accomodation fell far short of the luxury villa we had booked four months earlier. After three days of frantic calls to the UK made by mobile phone to our tour operator, we were given alternative accomodation in a different resort. When contacted by the tour operator, the owner of Queen Villa actually had the mendacity to tell them that we had checked in with her. The whole thing was a clear ruse from start to finish and in my opinion quite pre meditated. I can not put into words how distressing this was for my family. From what we saw of the grounds, it looks run down and not like in the pictures! Buyer beware.

  Nice calm your owen pool

  Just wonderful. Up in the mountain. 3 differentierad houses. Each one with a pool. Wonderful wiew over the see to Zakyntos. Need a Car because its a bit fr.o.m. Evertyhing. And To see the rest of this wonderful Island. Antisamos, Mirtosbeach, fiskardo, etc.
