  Rude woman and disgusting place

  The woman who works in reception is a rude rat of a woman who scammed me and my friend out of money for a “broken bed” and “dirty towels” which would’ve come out in the wash and threatened to call the police. She needs to go outside and give herself a shake. Never changed our sheets whole time we was there and got told to be quiet the whole time. I don’t know what’s more disgusting her attitude or the floors and bathroom.

  On Arrival Alex the Manager was waiting for you. Rooms are basic but clean. Maid came in everyday to empty bins. Bedding was change once when we was there. Towels were change too. It wa basic we had a fridge, kettle. It is self catering but there was no kitchenette to make anything. Alex was very kind and helpful. There is no Bar there but that not a problem because you can bring your own drinks to pool area and bring own food too. The Pool was lovely and clean, right on beach which we fully enjoyed swimming in sea. There are 2 supermarkets by the entrance. It value for money. We didnt have much noise to conplain about.Will go back in a couple of years to see if much has changed.Just last thing to say.. we had a great time ....

  A lovely bargain break in a fab location

  We booked a cheap week on "onthebeach.com" and paid for 2 people for a week for flights, accommodation and transfers a total of £570. We then read the reviews on Lemon Grove and had very low expectations as people had been so negative however we were really pleased with our stay and dont feel the negative reviews are justified.We arrived at 2am and the night staff greated us and showed us to our room. It was basic but extremely clean with clean bedding and towels and a balcony. In the morning we went to reception and was greated my Alex who couldn't have been more helpful and shared his local knowledge. We asked for extra coat hangers and they we taken to our room almost immediately.During our one week stay, our bin was emptied daily and our towels and bedding was changed 3 times which is more than acceptable. The twin beds were comfortable and we had a table and chairs outside our room. There is also a safe and air con.The location and view is stunning. The hotel is beach fronted and you can walk to bars, restaurants and other beach bars within minutes. The best meal we ate during our stay was at "Contessa" however there are lovely cheaper options such as Big Maxs which is literally outside the hotel and does a good breakfast.The bus stop to Corfu Town is a 3 mins walk from the hotel and is €4.90 pp each way. The journey takes just over an hour."Secret beach" is about a 50mins walk from the hotel but is beautiful. (Arkoudilas Beach) it has sunbeds for €5 each and an umbrella is included if you fancy a walk as you can only take a car so far. We walked the whole way and enjoyed it.We used the hotel as a base and we're happy with our stay. We wish Alex and his family all the best and they all work extremely hard. Best wishes

  Having read other reviews I hope this helps. First time staying in Kavos, having regular holidays to Corfu, couldn't get into where we normally stop but this holiday fit what we needed. We stayed 5 nights, on arrival paid €120 total for two rooms, room tax, air conditioning and safety deposit box. People were friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble, always checked you were ok when passing by. Complex Lemon Grove is a wonderful 2* Greek room only complex, spotlessly clean, the rooms were next to each other, both had 3 single beds, fridge freezer, crockery, utensils, kitchen sink & kettle. Enough to make continental breakfast/light lunches. The beds are not Premier Inn standard, they were comfortable and we all slept well. Lovely little terrace/balcony to sit out on with the promised side sea view, the bathrooms had shower basin, HAND HELD shower, (the trick is to hold the shower to spray towards the wall 😉 toilet rolls were supplied. The pool is a good size, clean, plenty of sunloungers and large umbrellas giving shading if wanted, fenced off to the sea with watersports, short walk up to the beach to bars/restaurants, cocktails🍸 Ideally situated for us as it was lovely and quiet, short walk into the centre for all the bars restaurants etc.. did have a bit of noise from new young arrivals but once informed they were being inconsiderate didn't hear a peep. Across the road you get a spot on full English, proper butchers back bacon..😋 pop next door discount supermarket we picked up everything we needed there, they are lovely & helpful too, when my son was not feeling well with his throat brought what I could there & they offered to go to pharmacy if he needed anything more which is 5km away! A 10 min walk to the bakery for fresh croissants, spinach & feta pies, doughnuts etc. We always use Easybook Travel for sunset cruises to Blue Lagoon & Sivota, the Paxos & Antipaxos & Caves boat trips, Corfu by day or night, quad safari. Lemon Grove was perfect for what we wanted. Kavos was too busy for me personally even though it's quieter than main Summer, otherwise I would definitely return to Complex Lemon Grove.Thank you for a wonderful stay.

  We booked this as a cheeky girly budget getaway!!Pleasantly surprised with the size of the room and the fantastic location.Rooms and facilities are clean, little bit tired but absolutely fine. Air con ( extra charge) worked well there was a kettle and a fridge in the room. Sheets were changed and room cleaned once in our 4 night stay, and a late checkout room was arranged for an extra charge.Unfortunately no pool bar or snacks but the shops perfectly walkable and Alex was fine with bringing own food and drink round the pool.Was relatively quiet given the proximity to the strip. Had a super lovely time Thanks to Alex and his family.
