  Found this place in Antipata about a mile from Fiskado Zport. We Were lucky to get the last room available which was on the top floor. It was a little small but well manageable. Every part of the accommodation is immaculate, with a lovely pool area with lots of beds and shaded areas. The girl who sees to the every day to day running of the hotel is absolutely brilliant and goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable.It would be a pleasure to stay here again

  Fabulous stay, cannot fault it. Great location and the pool area was beautiful. Everything was spotless, the house keeper was fab. Never met the host but communication was good. Highly recommend this wonderful little place, we travelled as a family with a small child.

  The room stayed in was on the second floor, as per my request, large, and sparkling clean.The king bed was extremely comfortable. The small balcony has lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The person in charge, Nancy, is very responsive and accommodating. There is a receptionist on-site only from 9:00-12:00. Outside those hours, you must call. The check-out is 9:00-11:00. Unfortunately, even in a small village such as Antipata, and out of season, one can't escape noise pollution. Since Magnolia Apartments is located on the main road, there was loud traffic until midnight. There's also noise from other - inconsiderate- guests. There is private parking. Perhaps there are actual apartments somewhere, but I had an en-suite room with balcony. There were exactly 4 bags of tea but no sugar or teaspoons, a coffee machine but no coffee. The WiFi download speed was 4.4 Mbps, which is rather low. I rate this accommodation "very good" only considering the price deal I got; the regular rate is too steep for what it offers.

  Our stay at Magnolias apartments was absolutely wonderful. A beautiful building tastefully decorated with the comfiest beds and a fabulous location in a little village with a shop and one of the best restaurants on the island “The Old Stone house”The swimming pool, table tennis and gym were amazing and we used the pool every day, it was so lovely and warm. Nancy is a wonderful host and her housekeeper is the best, nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely return to Magnolias apartments in the future. A perfect holiday thank you.

  Unplanned stay, so impressed we've booked again

  We found the Magnolia apartments following the hurricane which hit Kefalonia September 2020. We were staying in Assos which was badly affected by the storm so we had to find alternative accommodation.....what a gem of a find!! We stayed in a top floor loft which was very well equipped, tastefully decorated and very peaceful. The balcony provided lovely views to the surrounding countryside. The pool area is divine and from here there is access into a shaded garden area, complete with hammock. Nancy the owner made us feel so welcome despite what must of been a stressful time due to the devastation caused by the hurricane. She was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Across the road is a great taverna serving wonderful food, a shop is literally next door. We were so impressed by the property and all it had to offer that we have booked for September 2021, our 2 grown up sons will also be staying with us (we have booked a 2 bedroom apartment). We really are looking forward to our return visit.
