    This was our 3rd time back at the Melidron and the first with the new owners.Unfortunately, this will be my last.Staff didnt even acknowledge you at breakfast or passing through the hotel, although I must say that the cleaner was lovely and has been there every year that I have been.Staff just sat around the bar area, chatting amongst themselves and smoking.The Bar was seldom open and dirty ashtrays laying around the area.Breakfast, although ok, they run out of butter and was told there would be some the next day, but no, so my friend went across the road to buy some. Not sure why the staff could not gone and got some the first day it run out.You had to take your plates upto the counter when finished and more often that not these were still sat there in the evening, attracting flys and wasps.Cereal containers left open all day, not very hygenic!Floor sticky and grimy - not sure when that last got washed and swept.Garden area was untidy, with hose pipe left strewn across and leaves etc not swept up. I know the weather was not great, but a quick sweep to make the area look presentable, surely is basic house keeping.Cushions from the loungers, just tossed onto a table - very messy.But top marks for the cleaner as our room was cleaned every day and spotless.This used to be a lovely family run hotel, where although the rooms could do with some updating, you always felt at home and welcome and sorry that this is no longer the case.

    Had 1week in October people there had been before this new mob took over they was not pleased the only people working well were the chambermaids the rest didn’t give a monkeys about us, even running out of butter and had to go to the supermarket to buy some. The setting for this property is excellent but run poorly. And being ask for 5 euros a night tax is deplorable and after paying was stopped at the door and asked if I had paid. That’s how they lieas with each other when they are not smoking or chatting

    I had a lovely stay at the Melidron. Yes the rooms are a little tired but I had a comfortable stay and slept really well. Housekeeping lady was lovely and did a great job. Breakfast was OK but so many wasps both inside and outside. Pool area is lovely and the location of the hotel was perfect for me.

    We had a lovely holiday at the Melidron. Eva surprised us with bubbly, flowers and a personal cake on our wedding anniversary - lovely - thank you. The hotel was peaceful clean with a relaxed pool area and garden.All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Would give it 5 stars, but lost one - breakfast choice although great, the quality was not so good, and some aspects of the clean spacious room needed a bit of a refresh.

    This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Melidron. The new owners are very chilled and this reflects on our time spent there. It was peaceful all the time. The breakfast was exactly the same and worked for us. The rooms are spacious and typically Greek. Very clean. Hats off to you all. Thank you
