    Does the job Not the biggest room , and was right next to the noisiest corner of the main square .Decent breakfast , bed to sleep on ,air con and did the job required .Great location.

    Great stay for my son and I. We were staying for a volunteering holiday and was a great location to get around. We found the room a little dated, but it had everything we needed, cleaned beautifully every day, and we felt comfortable here. Breakfast is great, and we could keep our bikes in the courtyard which was very handy. Reception staff always helpful and accommodating.

    This is not a holiday destination, it is ok for a couple of nights. We were there 2 weeks what a mistake. Very noisy from 9 until 4 every day. The cleaners were there all day. They did a good but noisy job. Breakfast room small and dark. The lady running the breakfast was lovely.Reception staff good and helpful. Ok for a short stay.

    Wonderful hotel, centrally located, clean and quiet. Great breakfast with lots of choices.Kind and helpfull staff. Since travelling alone, felt very safe.Will definitely stay here again.

    A business City centre hotel not holiday hotel

    It's only right and fair I review without bias. A city centre hotel that is functional and well positioned next to the square amid several restaurants. Two minutes level walk to waterfront. I stayed for 7 days solo Senior male, Breakfast is buffet with plenty of choice both sweet and savoury inc local delicacies. The ladies in charge of breakfast are helpful and friendly. All the staff were friendly and polite without being intrusive I booked a standard single room and that is exactly what I got, small but clean ( fresh towels everyday) it is basic but everything is there Inc double bed which takes up 3/4 of the floor area. See photographThe balcony was a disappointment in both size and view. There was room for 2 small metal garden bistro chairs but not a little table, the view was overlooking the outdoor dining area of a local Italian restaurant and back yard of hotel. Sitting on the balcony on an evening was uncomfortable with people dining below, them staring up and me staring down, so sunset drinks were not had on the balcony. Curtains needed to be drawn to avoid other rooms looking in , maybe Hotel should consider additional net curtain or similarThe location next to the square meant that the party bars open till 3am could be heard very clearly especially the bass notes reverberating from around 10pmConclusion A good base, clean and well appointed ,but, bare in mind it states city centre it doesn't say holiday hotel. You get what it says on the tin.Hope this helps
