    Peaceful with great sea views

    rating04 Sept 2025

Good standard for 3 star hotel in Greece. Great views of Fiskardo sea roads for boat and ferry watching. Angle of hotel offers shady balcony, but suntrap terraces with sunbeds and umbrellas are available. Clean and well presented. Slightly dated in feel but good bathroom and kitchen area. A rather basic breakfast is offered, booked a day in advance. Better to walk into town or use your kitchen. Parking on the road is fine. The hotel is situated at the southern end of Fiskardo, a good level walk to the shops and tavernas, but it's therefore more peaceful.

    Great location close to beach

    rating25 Jun 2025

Fabulous views from the balcony - over the bay and Fiskardo village. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, spacious, well-equipped, good sized fridge, hobs for cooking, air conditioned, quiet and close to the beach. Most people can easily walk into Fiskardo from here. Only criticism was that our bedroom, which faced the east, did not have any means of shutting out the light at night while we were sleeping. There were shutters, but we couldn't reach them to open/close. Curtains were very thin, so we were woken up very early. It would be good to have blackout curtains on these windows.

    Love greece so much

    rating16 Jun 2025

I am a brit but not a typical 1..why does everyone (most) go on here and moan?? Oh my bins haven't been emptied..oh my towels haven't been changed..oh the water isn't hot ..oh there,s some ants in the room!! For God's sake it's greece!!!..basic is what greece is.I have not read a review yet about the beautiful hot weather, the gorgeous crystal clear water of lee beach or the endless choice of tavernas with the delicious Greek cuisine..if this ain't, worth going cos of the Greek hotels then go to blackpool and have a good moan there.

Friendly family run hotel in a great location

    rating29 Jun 2023

We had a thoroughly enjoyable week at the Stella Hotel Apartments and would recommend it to anyone. The hotel is family run and the owners are delightful. Nothing was too much trouble and we even were given a welcome bottle of wine on arrival and a bottle of olive oil when we left. There is no denying that the hotel decor is getting a bit 'tired' and is in need of smartening up but this in no way affected our enjoyment of it, once you look past the peeling paint, broken tiles etc you realise that the rooms are very well equipped and extremely comfortable. I've never stayed in a hotel room that provided a set of bathroom scales (useful for weighing yourself after all that moussaka and your luggage before the flight home!). The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the view from the balcony wonderful. We booked a 'partial sea view' room, which was fine, although the view one floor above was jaw dropping. We used the communal sun terrace on the roof for our evening 'sundowners' so we could enjoy the same view as the guests who had paid that but more for their rooms. We chose to have the breakfast included with the room, which was a good start to each day. It was fairly basic fare but enough to set you up for a day on the beach or sightseeing.Fiskardo centre is about a 15 minute level walk. This means the town is accessible for an evening meal but the hotel is quiet.Although the Stella Apartments Hotel is lovely, be warned that there are a lot of steps to climb to get from the road to the entrance if you have mobility issues. A lift is available once you get inside the hotel.Parking is free on the road outside if you have a hire car. Some things like beach towels are provided free of charge.Fiskardo is a lovely town and is very popular with the yachting crowd, so it does tend to be a bit expensive. There are a couple of supermarkets for essentials and lots of tavernas lining the harbour, which are great for 'people watching' in the evening. We would recommend the Nicholas Taverna on the far side of the harbour by the ferry terminal for its food and great view from the terrace. We also recommend the Foki Taverna half a mile on the road south out of Fiskardo (easily walkable from the hotel) for its home cooking and slightly cheaper prices. From Fiskardo you can get the ferry to Lefkada (10 Euros each way for foot passengers). This makes a cheap day trip if you spend some time on the beaches on the other side and have lunch at a taverna. We also booked a day boat trip to Ithaca (45 Euros) which was good fun with some lovely swimming stops. With our car we visited some of the few ancient ruins which survived the earthquake in 1953 (most of the island was flattened) and towns like Assos, which is in a stunning location. There are some sandy beaches on the island, but they do get very crowded. If you are prepared to settle for a rock and pebble beach then you can get away from the crowds. We happily recommend the Stella Apartments Hotel for its friendly owners, its facilities and its location.

Fantastic stay at friendly family run hotel

    rating28 Sept 2022

A fantastic stay with Antonis and his wonderful family at Stella Apartments. Comfortable clean apartment with all mod cons and a stunning view across Fiskardo bay from our balcony. Excellent breakfast served with care and only a short stroll into town or to the beach. Cannot wait to return!!
