  Vangelis & Reena could not be more welcomingThe studios are basic but spotlessly clean, in a great location. Studio was cleaned daily with towel & sheets changed mid week. Lots of places to eat, bus stop 5 mins walk with buses to Lindos,Rhodes Town and lots of more places. If you are looking somewhere to stay in Pefkos at a reasonable price you can’t go wrong.

  Had a fantastic time here Vangelis and Rena are amazing couldnt do enough for you. Ideal location, great pool area and bar, good food and very reasonable prices. Rooms are basic but typical Greek accomodation, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Have booked up for next year already. Yammas!

  Greek hospitality at its best!Super location just off the main strip. Despite its central location such a peaceful location. Free parking also.Like others have said, rooms dated but functional. Minimal equipment for self catering, no corkscrew, bottle opener or wine glasses. But there is a microwave and kettle.Shower very small and difficult to use, would be better if they were wet rooms. But plenty of hot water and a hood pressure.The service we received was exceptional and felt like part of the family. Food and drinks excellent and made with love.Lovely grounds and pool area, there was also a pool table.Loved our stay so relaxing!

  Very dated/very poor hotel rooms

  Good location but very poor/very dated rooms. First room given had lots of ants and insects in the bathroom which were entering bedroom. Shower curtain had lots of mould at the bottom. Shower tray was dirty. Some of the “off white” towels smelt like bonfire? Saw manager straight away and he offered us a second room which was marginally better with no visible insects. The shower was the smallest I’ve ever seen with tiles falling apart and flooded the bathroom floor with every use due to its size. My husband couldn’t really fit in it. The bathroom has a drainage smell and because of water constantly on floor after showering we had to use flip flops whenever entering. The room itself was very dated and dingy with lights in rooms flickering. My husband went to get out of bed one morning and the matress fell through the bed frame. We lifted up the mattress and the wooden slats had fallen through as they wasn’t even or secure, we had to take matress off and rectify incase of any further accidents. No matress or pillow protectors. Had to pay for air conditioning because room was so stuffy (12 euros per day which was unexpected when booking), but the air conditioning unit outside was so noisy we had to turn off when we slept. We couldn’t even leave the air conditioning on during the day to cool the room down because it only worked when the key fob/chip was in the holder in the room. The key was welded to this so you couldn’t even take the key off! Room not cleaned every day and if it was only bins emptied (which smelt) and loo roll left, occasionally bedsheets were straightened out. Towels only refreshed once per week. I asked the manager if all rooms had the same size showers and he just said bluntly “yes”. We didn’t feel like he was bothered to help us any further so we just gave up. My two adult sons were also on holiday in pefkos at the same time in different hotels, both similar star ratings or less and theirs knocked spots off our hotel with cleanliness, decor and facilities. I’ve never written a bad review for a hotel but I was so disappointed I felt I had to write this one as it spoilt our holiday. We tried to go out every day to the beach or our son’s pool just to get out of the hotel room. I’ve stayed in Greek accommodation before, which I know can be basic but this takes the biscuit! I’m not sure how it has so many good reviews on this site!?!Shame, because Pefkos itself was lovely but I really wouldn’t recommend this hotel and won’t be returning.

  A wonderful experience with great hosts

  We stayed at Chrysanthi Studio and Apartments this September - possibly the best time of year as the weather was perfect - around 30 during the day and 22 at night. Chrysanthi Studio rooms are simple but cleaned almost every day. Lovely food, great hosts and a great pool with enough sun loungers for everyone. Vangelis and Rina went out of their way to may everyone feel welcome. Nala, their giant but gentle dog was a hit with everyone. The number of people who return every year is a testimony to what a gem this place is.
