  Great place to stay

  We have just returned from 2 weeks at Villa Koki - room 2. We absolutley loved it - have stayed in Lindos many times but this is our first stay at Koki and will definitely be back. The room is a very decent size with a good shower, it has a separate kitchen right next door which is very large and has a huge fridge freezer. Views are amazing, air con is free and is excellent, also free wi-fi and safe. The service provided by Koki is second to none - we had to change our dates due to the arrival of our first grandson and they were so flexible with us. They arranged transfer from the airport and the driver came with us to the villa to make sure we were in safely. Throughout our stay any queries we had were answered quickly and professionally. Can't wait to get back.

  Beware of the Aircon Sting

  Great location overlooking the bay. Despite the cons I have returned here several times as the location is perfect for us. My first complaint is that the there is no fan or air circulation which means that the rooms get very hot. The remote control for the aircon is held by the owner and will only be released to you at a price of €10 per night and you must pay for your whole stay! E.g 7 nights = €70 - in the hot months aircon is essential! Another concern is that there is an odour that emanates from the drains in the bathroom. Having said that it is still a good spot and you can walk to all the bars /restaurants and the beaches.

  Disastrous visit

  Expensive room, poorly cleaned infrequently. No adequate contacts (no English). Miraculously found place in village of no addresses. Senior guests left to drag baggage up/down steep hills in 49 degree heat. New watch disappeared from room day before leaving - to once again climb up to find unknown exit from village. Email sent/no response.

  Gone Downhill

  We have stayed here four times since 2008. We returned last week for the first time in four years.It's location was always it's attraction, and we know it has always been basic. Basic is fine, but being shoddy and dirty isn't. And the Koki now is.Everything is tired and old. Very few utensils or crockery etc in the 'kitchen' area. Towels were changed just twice in two weeks .... the bath mat not at all (we could tell by the unique pattern it had due to bleach stains)Rooms were supposedly cleaned and beds were 'made' daily, .... but each and every day, there was a layer of dust on surfaces and floors. And we had to remake beds.Twice during our stay, the maid left us with no toilet roll, and we had to ask the owner for them ... to be met with an attitude that suggested we shouldn't ask!Air con .... and it is a con ... 10 euros a day (140 in total) for ancient units that took an age to cool the rooms (heat wave had hit, and at 44c it was essential) .... in addition variously rattled and hummed so much, it often sounded like a helicopter was landing on the roof .... Wi Fi ... was on and off ...Other couple we were travelling with echoed our thoughts on how the Koki has deteriorated, and others staying at the same time too, so it's not just us being 'picky' And if you check my other reviews, I have only ever left one other 'terrible', as I really am not a 'moaner' ... lol

  small expensive room

  looked great on the pictures online,but we got a very small room it was clean and the towels where changed daily my wife said it felt like we were in prison one neighbour had a kitchen with a separate entarence it was not worth what we paid
